We now have a review archive forum
...and a DC Comics section
http://sideshowcollectors.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=46

It will be administered by the mods and no one but them can post there. When we find a substantial review of a collectible elsewhere on the board we'll copy the review post to the Review archive.

So a thread entitled "Hot Toys "Alien" Dallas in spacesuit" will only contain reviews of that figure. The original thread in the proper section won't be effected, but this will give us a single location where people can go for reviews.

This is only for reviews posted on this board - links to other websites with reviews will not be included.

If you have seen a review on the board and feel it should be included, please PM me with the post link.

I'd like to encourage more people to do substantial reviews, hopefully this will help.

:rock:rock:rock:rock:rock Great idea!!!!

Seconded. This is something I've been hoping to happen for a while now. Good reviews are usually lost too quickly in the madness that is the message board format. This is a very welcome addition.

Dave's 2 for 2 today. Any more surprises?

People need to help me find the reviews on the forum. I know I disallowed links, but if Papi wants to embed his reviews (if they're suitable for a general audience) in a post then we can add them as well.

You could post the links to reviews in this thread too and I'll pick them up.

Good idea indeed. But I wonder if threads like "how to build your HT marines right", and "How to build your HT Predators, RoboCops, etc. right" shouldn't be added to this new forum as well. As everybody knows, a lot of people here often request help in the assemblage of certain model kits. Some even damage the model due to lack of experience with such things. A lot of breakage could possible be avoided if all this assemblage information would also be stored in one place, I bet it would be a great help to people that run into trouble during the assemblage process. Posters could also point out when extra care is needed during the process, to avoid breakage.

Great Pictures. We should have Kane next. Maybe you should have a review section for Premium Formats, another for figures and so on....

Not a bad idea. It doesn't look like we're going to burning up the space with reviews, so I don't see why we shouldn't add threads like that.
