One of the worst games I've ever played. I never did figure out what to do.

Yeah, I remember that game. It made me cry as much as the movie did.

Ditto. For entirely different reasons.

Yep, I think I played it for all of 10 mins. Looking back it's hard to see why we were excited about ANY 2600 game.

Although Pitfall was great.

Raiders of the Lost Ark was an awsome game... needed both controllers. I loved my Atart 2600. :)

Doesn't the legend go that Atari had to bury the excess copies of that game in the Nevada desert, coz sales were that poor?!

Yup. And some college students were going to make a documentary about it, but it's currently on hiatus: http://www.auburn.edu/~clontsc/etmarch/about/

I had this game and tried for years to beat it.

The one thing I remember most about this game was the commercials for it.

I blame that game for years of low self esteem! I was REALLY young, like 5 or 6 and I thought there was something wrong with me why I couldn't get out of the #@!king manhole!!! Then my older brother tried it and after like 2 minutes put down the joystick and said "for once it's not you, kid".
