Tomorrow when the War began

It has its moments, the limited action which is suspenseful and nicely filmed. It also does not glorify the violence.
However, it's not really for over 25's, and is filled out with to much frivolous, and boring romantic situations, there is a scene where the girls are talking about a boy that one of them likes while they are about to blow something up. Such a shame that the good parts have to compete with Aussie soap situations

Agreed on Conroy & Hamill, but the voice acting was still solid.

Captain Pike has a pretty good Batman voice. He can pinch hit for Conroy if he's not available on future videos.

John Di Maggio was good as Joker, but he shouldn't give up his day job as Bender.

Paul - It won't win any awards. But it was good to the point where I did not feel I wasted my money seeing it. 6.5/10. Personally, I liked the fact that it seemed that the show was writen around trying to fit as many iconic lines/scenes from different space movies as possible.

Both films were ficticious whereas Raging Bull was based on a true story and hense true events. The man was world champion in the 40's so I suppose it maybe deserved some attention. I'm not even disagreeing with you that the story wasn't as moving as other classics but in this case you need to look past that and enjoy the artistic materpiece Scorsese delivers.

Raging Bull is my 2nd all time favorite film. It has absolutely everything going for it. The story is simple but still interesting and interesting is good.

I've seen about 10 different edits of the footage and they are all ho home.

Bruce Lee was awesome, but hell, even the short fight seen after Blade gets out of the pool of blood in Blade II destroys any of the fight scenes from Game of Death. The only thing it has going for it is BL in a kewl looking jump suit.

Exactly. And watch people always throw around the word, "iconic" around here. Bruce Lee in this suit was iconic, J.Sparrow, iconic, this character, iconic...that character, iconic. It's to the point where the word has no value.

GOD was not a very good movie. The action was boring and the fighting scenes were mediocre.

If you want to say that Lee's look in that yellow suit was cool...fine.

Otherwise, there is nothing about that film that makes it a classic or up to snuff with some of his other work. Which BTW, was not that great. Lee the philosopher, martial artist...as the figure standing along, the individual, was remarkable and truly a gift to the world. His on the screen stuff left a lot to be desired. Groundbreaking only because he was truly skilled and could translate that to the screen, but lets not get it twisted, he was no silver screen Oscar performer who just captivated the imagination.

Serenity. Finally checked it out. I was a fan of the short-lived series. I'd giver her a 7.5/10. Would have rated it lower if the end didn't make up for a lot of lag. River actually didn't bore the hell out of me for once. :rock

The Delta Force (Chuck Norris) -- 4/10. It had its moments, and I'm a sucker for counterterrorist movies ... but it was just too goofy.

The hijacking plot was ill-conceived ... nobody hijacks a commercial airliner with two guys, and then plans to load the rest of the hijackers after they land. Ridiculous plan. There are three cabins on the plane ... how are you going to watch the whole plane with two guys?

The rescue mission was a cluster. I like cheesy action movies, but when you name it "Delta Force", you should do better on the tactical stuff. I'm not a military guy ... so when I can tell your tactics and battle plan are screwed-up, they're really screwed-up.

Delta Force (who, by the way, don't call themselves "delta force" -- let alone identify themselves as "delta" to a civilian) is an elite COVERT counterterrorist team. These guys, lead by a 65-year-old fogey, rode around Beirut in broad daylight on militarized lunar rovers wearing black commando gear. Chuck Norris, his usual badass self, was pretty much by-himself riding a missile-launching motorcycle (never out, never reloaded) around Beirut while the rest of the team rescued hostages.

The extraction plan was apparently to pile all the hostages back into the hijacked commercial airliner and fly the Delta team and the hostages to Israel together on a commercial jet. No C-130. Didn't even bother taking the airport or securing the runway. The old fogey actually asked the Captain "you got enough fuel to get us to Israel?". What if the answer was "no"? "Uhh ... well dammit."

The soundtrack was an 80s sythesized nightmare. I remember these type of movies being a lot cooler when I was 6 years old. This is a movie that might be really good if they remade it with some actual SFOD-D guys consulting (to add some realism) ... the overall plot wasn't that bad if they'd address the tactical stupidity on both sides. Put Chuck Norris in it somewhere.

Tron Legacy: I have vague memories of watching the original (I was seven at the time), and really don't remember much about it. However, I loved this movie. Spectacular visually, and the score by Daftpunk was perfect. It looked great on Blu-Ray on my 72" 1080p HD TV, but this is one that I regret missing on IMAX 3D. Story was not its strength, but I liked the interaction between father and son. And of course, Jeff Bridges is great in anything. 9 / 10.

Gnomeo and Juliet: Took the family to see it at a local second run theater and was surprised by how good this was. Despite the polish and marketing muscle of the bigger studios, I preferred this to Hop and Despicable Me. 8 / 10.

Winter's Bone - 4/10. This was up for an Academy Award for best picture? Ugh. Pretensious film school crap. However, I will say that Jennifer Lawrence was excellent in it, as was the underrated John Hawkes. I actually watched this because I wanted to see how Lawrence was as an actress, since she's been cast as Katniss in Hunger Games. Sadly, while I think she's a terrific actress, I think she's woefully mis-cast. Normally, I don't think the age of actors is that big of a deal, but considering how critical the age of Katniss and the other participants in the Hunger Games is, someone that is 21 trying to play 16 just isn't going to work. After seeing the guys they've cast as Peeta and Gail, and with Gary Ross as the director, I have a bad feeling that this is going to get turned into Twilight Meets Running Man.

Agree, was the first time watching for me and I loved it!

I loved the fact it was

Unlike Jesse James movies of the past, Andrew Dominik's film is presented as a psychoanalytical historical epic rather than a shoot-'em-up western. The movie details the outlaw's deteriorating psyche during his final months of life as he slowly succumbs to paranoia and develops a precarious friendship with his eventual assassin, Robert Ford. The strange relationship between the two men is examined over the course of the film.

Affleck and Pitt were sensational as was Sam Rockwell

Never Let Me Go: 7/10

Pretty good. Great mood. Visually stunning. Also very sad. Not "The Road" depressing, just overall melancholy.

It also felt a little rushed in the sense that it felt like there was more to the story than what they filmed. Since it was based on a novel, I can see more time being spent in the different acts, along with more subplots. In the movie you only get a hint at them. But it's a slow enough movie to begin with, so I can see why they didn't delve deeper.

And now I constantly find myself fantasizing about drinking tequila off of Salma Hayek's toes.

It was fun. The set-up was the best part IMO. But like i said if the vamps were kinda like 30 days of night or something, it woulda had the best of everything. Seth and Richie are just great characters. And Harvey Keitel was great as usual.

(Also too many great one-liners to count)

I have to agree again. Tombstone was a good movie, but it felt like it was just a vehicle to bring together a lot of top name actors to do a Western. And the Dana Delany character felt tacked on so they could have a love interest.

They both were made by Hollywood and were rushed out. They both have their inconsistancies. I love the quotes from Tombstone but I also love the more in-depth character build from Wyatt Earp. As for Open Range that movie is complete garbage EXCEPT for the last 15 minutes. I would give the last 15 minutes of that movie a 10/10 and the rest a 2/10

First time watching this.

I think this is a pretty fair score. I don't like x-men at all, and I didn't like any of the other movies. But I like wolverine, especially his look in this movie. I love it. I also don't care about what they did to deadpool. It makes more sense than the comic deadpool's origin.

Watched this movie a second time, and enjoyed it more. I had to have my friends explain to me everything, because I still didn't get it all, and there's still things I don't get.

But I like the movie, it's just way too overly complicated, it's a little ridiculous.
