Which Superhero Movie did you like best?

I went with IM with DK a close 2nd. IM wins cause it was just a bit more "fun"

Dark Knight. It wasn't supposed to be fun. Its the Empire Strikes Back of the series. Bad things happen.

ESB was a blast. And so was DK. Just not as much as IM for me.(just cause bad things happen don't mean it can't be fun)

IM only by a slight, slight margin.

TDK for me. The two things that clenched it for me was that I didn't like the end battle of IM that much and I loved watching Joker in TDK. I think I'll be watching TDK more on DVD than IM.

I actually think it's an insult to even lump The Dark Knight together with a movie like the Hulk. It's light years above any superhero movie EVER made and should stand alone as a reboot to the entire notion of superhero movies. Iron Man was great as well, but it's way down below The Dark Knight.

I agree with wofford. Ironman and Hulk shouldn't be compared to TDK, Ironman was defintely "light and simple" as RDJ claims. TDK made IM look dumb and clumsy IMO. And I was a huge fan of IM movie. Hulk was good I liked it a bit more than IM but still pales in comparison.

This is how the spring/summer comic movies played out ranks for me

IM 8/10
DK 8/10
Hulk 7/10

So all in all, all were good an no stinkers!!

The only think that kinda sucks about Batman now is, i don't see how they can top this with a 3rd film. While i can see IM and Hulk going up or down from here. i just can't see a 3rd bats film getting better than this. (at least right now)

Why'd you leave out Hellboy? Hellboy 2 is head over heels better than Hulk and stands tall with Iron Man and TDK, but it's not on your poll...

Anyway, I voted for TDK. I dunno if it's because it's still fresh in my mind, but I liked it more than almost every other movie so far this summer.

Iron Man, for all it's awesomeness, felt insubstantial.

I have to agree with Krayt because I really don't know if they will be able to top TDK put who knows whats up Nolan's sleeves.

I see those three (IM, TDK, HB2) as being the big attractions of the summer, with Hulk a great movie but not up to the level of the others. Hulk was a great superhero movie--the other three were great movies, period.

But The Dark Knight will surely be one of my favorite movies of the year, in a summer that gave us a ton of great movies.

Gotta go with TDK followed by IM and HB2 [tied for 2nd] with Hulk in last place. How on earth is Nolan gonna top this one?

Yea, I'm just glad I didn't pay to see The Hulk, if I had driven myself, I would have walked out it was that terrible. Saw TDK last night, and it was surely the best movie of the year so far, if not one of my favorites of all time.

It's sad that Ledger had to die, so now he can't be in the sequel :monkey2

Dk by a nose ahead of IM. Hulk was good though. They all satisfy the core of the fans of each. All are successful. And I did very much enjoy IM. Very much.
But, DK is the classic to come out this year.

DK #1
IM #2
Hulk #3

Voted for Iron Man..was my favorite movie of the 3.I'm not one of those Batman fanatic, and altough Hulk is my favorite hero, I'm not biased enough, Iron Man was the best time I had at the movies this year.

I agree it's a joke to have Hulk on this list.

TDK is smarter, more exciting and better written than IM, not to mention that the final battle is much more fulfilling. IM doesn't have nearly as much meat to the story and doesn't require you to think too much. Robert Downey Jr was fun to watch but Heath was much more riveting, not to mention Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, and Christian Bale.

TDK beats IM for best comic movie ever... until Watchmen comes out.

Agreed!

Iron Man was the BEST way to start the summer, and TDK was the best way to end it. (I know its not over...but theres not much left. Tropic Thunder and The Mummy are the only flicks I give a crap about).

I picked the Dark Knight but we received 3 escellent Super Hero movies this year. I feel bad for The Hulk because it is living in 2 giant shadows but really all 3 movies are awesome. Was a very good Summer.

Wow, looks like we have a clear winner.
Guess i'll have to watch the first Batman (well, BB anyway) and get ready for this coming out on DVD.
I'm looking forward to seeing IM too.
Hulk, not so much :lol

Honestly, I feel Iron Man and TDK are equally good, except it's apples and oranges. If IM is a superhero comedy, then TDK is a superhero drama. Although let's face it, IM was unique in that it is the first of its kind, where as TDK, as well done as it was, is about the 6th or 7th feature length Batman film, and was nothing we hadn't seen before in a bunch of other films.

And while not as good as those two, I thought TIH was pretty damn good and entertaining for a Hulk fan like myself.

CelticPredator

Yeah, Hulk was great! I enjoyed that a lot. Not as much as Iron Man, but it did its job.

As far as superhero movies go this year:

1) TDK
2) Iron Man
3) Hellboy 2

4) Hulk (only the deleted scenes on the DVD can save this one for me)

No-brainer here...DK no doubt about it.

Not only was DK a good "superhero" movie, IMO it's the best ever, but it was just a plain great movie.

No doubt it will be one of the best movies of the entire year.

Iron Man was awesome but it just wasn't as good as DK. Just as perfect RDJ was as Stark, Ledger was even better as the Joker.

Incredible Hulk was mediocre.

Ironman. Yeah baby. :rock

Ironman could never win this poll, because Batman has always been more a popular character. I will say The Dark Knight was a more elaborate and adult movie, so that might have something to do with it. For my money Ironman for film and figure. Yo.

Was wondering how people felt nearly 2 years later. Is TDK still oh so good? For me it has nearly zero re-watch value. Whereas IM i watched just the other day for the first time in a long time and still had a good time. I even watched Hulk lately, and it was more enjoyable to me than TDK.

Well I'd consider DK a better movie (well at least until the boats scenes at the end) "Iron Man" for me is a lot more watchable and is better for multiple viewings, I don't know why Hulk is up there or why Hellboy Superman & Spiderman aren't.
my ratings for the actual quality are

IM 8/10
DK 8.5/10
HULK 3/10

But my ratings for repeat watchability are

IM 8/10 (an easy flick to put on when boredom is abound)
DK 6.5/10 (really got to be in the batman mood to watch this one)
HULK 2/10 (mmm.......good when you need a sleep in front of the TV)

Cause spidey or Supes didn't come out in 2008. This is about Superhero movies that came out in summer of 2008. There's already a poll about best superhero movies of all time.
