Don't know how feasible this is, but I know from personal experience that trying to keep up with all the threads that involve commissioned sculpts has been a major undertaking. I personally am involved in about 10 different groups who have commissioned heads/figures or are about to commission a sculpt. I created a spreadsheet just to keep up with what group I'm in with, what the commission is, who the artist is, whether I've paid or not, and (here's the point I am taking forever to get to) the thread and forum in which everything is taking shape. It gave me the idea to suggest a forum specifically for Commissions/Custom Sculpts and Figures.

So, for example, when a commission takes shape within a regular forum, it could get moved to the Commissions forum. I've already lost some threads where commissions were discussed and I said "I'm in!" but new threads have pushed these down several pages already. Then I forget about them, but not because I don't want the figure, just because I don't open up my spreadsheet every day and peruse my "list"! :lol

Thanks for reading my suggestion! :peace

Did you know you can subscribe to any thread you like?

Guess this is a function of the board of which I'm unaware! This is what comes of having limited time to play around with what can be done here! :lol

So, no: I did not know that I could subscribe to threads. How does one do this? :monkey1

Go to Thread Tools at the top of thread. Drop down menu click on Subscribe to this thread.

Done.

It's an idea - and would probably be convenient.

So I should create a forum where toy makers and license holders can come and see in one convenient location how their rights are being infringed upon?

Guess when you put it that way... :o Like I said, just a suggestion. Thanks for the thread subscription info, guys. :peace

Actually it would make sense to put all the commission threads in the custom section. Discreet and appropriate. That may be doable.

Dito--never have figured out how that happens...

Thanks, Dave. Just thought it would make things simpler for keeping track of these things (and there seem to be quite a few, all over the board). Don't want to create any infringement issues, though, so 'discrete' is good! :peace
