It's actually kind of funny, listen to the music from the Star Wars OT or Indiana Jones, the music today has a much better recording quality.

I noticed that too! Instantly brought images from Raider's to mind. Music from the cuts-to-Sallah between Indy in the Map Room.

I love John Williams but after a while a lot of his stuff starts to sound the same...or maybe just highly self-refferential. I was watching TOD the other day, for example, and there is definitely a lot of the Thuggee chant in Duel of the Fates.
