Posts - why are they so predicatable?

Reading through all of the posts, it's amazing to see that they all seem to follow the same sort of pattern:

Someone brings up a topic (they may apologise in advance just in case it is a repost)

If it is a repost, someone will point this out (invariably in a sarcastic manor) and then someone will chip in with a funny pic.

Someone will then chip in with a or a which will then be followed by a few more and :rollin

Next comes the insults. These normally involve comments on someone's physical appearance or their sexual preference.

More and :rollin then follow.

Getting near the end of the post, one of the big chiefs steps in to try and calm things down and then it's locked and disappears into a galaxy far, far away.

The fact that hardly any discussion revolves around the initial topic is a bit strange, especially when some are worth responding to.
