Why do you have to have Lord of the Rings stuff, or Star Wars? Seriously, Why?

'Cause you like it right?

I'm a huge Pixar fan and I like the design of the robot.

I just watched the trailor on youtube. Looks different for sure. I like a lot of Pixar stuff too so it should be decent I'd guess although this one looks really centered around the robots actions with limited dialog. That could be a little strange at first.

You guys gotta check out the promo site for Wall E:

http://www.buynlarge.com/

Amazingly detailed for a fictional corporation site. Looks like Wall E might have a bit of an satirical edge to it (detailing a consumer world gone crazy) along having with a VERY cute robot as it's star.

It's funny that I saw this thread. My Wife and I took our son to see Wall*E a couple of nights ago. Afterwards we decided to go to Wal-Mart to see if we could find some of the toys (my wife's as big a toy geek as I am) We found something a little better. Our own Wall*E if you will

He was wandering the road in front of the store so we brought him home and cleaned him up. He was so dirty, and so sweet, in reality what else could we call him but, Wall*E

We do intend on going to Wal-Mart eventually and seeing if they have those toys, eventually.

The controls work great and the preset movements/expressions were excellent. If you got the smaller one it's way better. The hands and eyes move where as they didn't on the other one. They both do the dance thing, but with this one you can plug in your ipod and let it go. I think I enjoyed the free roaming the best. The follow me thing was OK, but you have to clap every step or so to get him to follow you.

I have not encountered one that is truly 1/6.

The definitive one I chose for my displays is the "Interaction Wall-E". Visually it looks amazing, it is one of my favorites. I have it paired with the EVE as well. I didnt really care about the scale since obviously there wont be many other Wall-E Items I would want. They do fit in nicely among the Toy Story Collection too.

I was hoping my post would help someone out here. Despite keeping a constant online eye out on upcoming toy releases, these new and reissued Pixar items totally caught me off-guard. I hadn't checked out a TRU in months and just happened to be in one looking for a kid's birthday gift. And, like dxdave, I'm hoping they produce more 6"-ers from the Incredibles, maybe even Ratatouille and Up.

I am glad they re-released these! I have a buddy that has been dying to get the Wall-e and Eve figures. The prices on them were ridiculous! It is smart of them to reissue these because there are a lot of new young fans out there that will want the toys.
