Pretty cool. If they did an animated maquette I'd be tempted to get both.

There's an ACME Archives INDY Art thread somewhere around here. No worries, though... it just got buried last week due to the INDY PF stuff. :lol

Crap, I wish you hadn't told me that. :lol
*goes to see how expensive the character key is, then looks for nonexistant blank spots on the wall, ponders the possibility of hanging a picture from the ceiling...*

NICE, he looks good. Kinda upset that the Holy Grail wasn't on the key and they put the Idol on there. Grail was a must more important artifiact to the movies than the idol

Maybe they are doing a second one with the Grail and the Skull?

How do you like it Lonnie? Do you have other character keys? I intend to get one soon, so I'm hoping it doesn't sell out first.

I'm quite tempted to get this from SS, maybe use some reward points on it. Anyone got it yet?

Got mine in a few days ago. Nice piece. It'll look good with the GG maquettes, when they ever get around to making them.

I have most of the Star Wars ones. I like it... I think the artwork could have been better, it's not horrible either. There is just something addicting about these character keys, so be careful if you enter the line! :D

Thanks for the warning, I should probably listen to it since I have a tendency to get sucked in to things ("I'm only going to get a couple PF's of my favorite characters.":lol). Right now my biggest decision is whether to get the framed one from Sideshow and spend a little more, or get an unframed one and find a less expensive frame for it. I'm leaning towards the first because if the frame doesn't look nice it'll completely take away from the art.

Can ask a questions guys, what's the appeal? I mean it's not like the Clone Wars keys based on the animation. Am I missing something?

I don't get the appear of these either and I didn't really want this one, but I just bought one so I could get one of those cool promo SSC Indy shirts. :monkey1

That's dedication IJ, those shirts are cool. Also are there really chilled monkey brains coming out or is that just a little photoshop trickery on your part.

Does anyone have a real picture of what the Sideshow version looks like on a wall?

I merged the two and created an Animated GIF in Adobe ImageReady.

I bought mine, I think it'll look cool with the Animated Indy maquette that I'm hoping GG will do. I'm not sure why it appeals to me, the Star Wars ones haven't but for some reason this one does. I've considered getting the Jack Sparrow one and the animated maquette to go with it as well.

GG announced they will be doing Indy animated maquettes. I wouldn't be surprised if the first one or two are on display at SDCC this year.

I remember someone else said they were going to do them, but I'm a pessimist so I'm always expecting my plans to go awry.

Of Character Keys in general? Or Animated Indy?
I just like the look of these things. Something silly and cool.
