PS3... What are the must buys?

Hello everyone.

I will be getting a PS3 in about 2 weeks. I've been scouring the horrible playstation.com for things I need and it was of no help.

When buying a PS3, what else do I need?

*Please note: Don't tell me to buy things that are available for Xbox360. (COD4, etc.)

So...

I'll be watching Bluray, so do I need a remote control?
Should I buy Flow?
Do I need any points? (Like microsoft points, wii points)
USB Keyboard or mouse?
Should I go wireless or wired for internet?
Do I need to get my PSP ready?
What do I need to watch out for during "installation"?
Should I NOT buy something?

Please help. I want to jump in to PS3 with both feet.

You will need 1 copy of the following:

Drakes Fortune (This is the absolute must game)

Resistance Fall of Man

Motorstorm

I would also highly recommend the DVD remote. Oh and a longer controller cable to charge while playing. The one they give you is way to short. Someone will need to help me out on the type of cable. It is USB to something.

so far that probably about it if you already have a 360 but this year should be good for ps3

I agree with Badmoon, Drakes Fortune is a must buy for this system.

Its a PS3 downloadable game. Its for the casual gamer crowd where you play an organism that slowly eats other creatures to become bigger and badder.

I really only use my PS3 as a BR player. I think the remote is a must.

You need the Blu Ray remote. When I was buying mine Ill Jedi told me to pick it up and I dont regret it.

So let me get this straight. If I buy a PS3 right now, I am getting NOTHING for free? No 5 discs, no game, nothing?

I thought the 5 free discs were until July but I may be wrong.

I use the controller as my BR remote and have never had an issue with it

It works, but I got tired of trying to remember what button does what. I'd go to pause it and skip and chapter.

Here is what I would pick up game/accersories wise.
-Uncharted: Drakes Fortune (great game, good demo material as well)
-Ninja Gaiden Sigma ($39.99 now)
-MLB 08 The Show (best baseball game of all time)
-Call of Duty 4 (unless you already have it for the 360)
-GT5 Prologue ($39.99, due out next week)
-Preorder MGS4 and get the Saga 2.0 bonus DVD, so you can get in on the MGS online beta
-Duel Shock 3 controller (trade in or keep the six axis for mulitplayer)

Does MLB 08 have the new Nationals park in it or does it still have them at RFK?

If one is looking for a good downloadable game, I'd say Super Stardust is a great one. I only played the demo, but that was awesome enough.
