Quick Reply?

Would it be possible to add this to this message board? I see a lot of other boards similar to ours that utilize it and its very fan friendly and keeps the conversations moving quickly. You have the option to go advanced but when you need to just comment quick its hassle free. :rock

What do you think?

As always, I'm amazed by your immense ability to type messages which actually mean something. The amount of thought going into those messages must be exhausting. :confused:

As we can see from this thread, "quick reply" may not be advantageous.

I'd prefer if more thought went into each post rather than less. However if someone can show me what the feature is exactly, I'll take it under advisement.

I love the quick reply. It's much easier, especially if you don't need to use smileys in that reply.

How does it work? I can't see how it can be quicker than typing messages this way. Is it like someone else said where you select pre-typed messages?

Instead of having to hit reply there is just an open screen that you type in then hit reply.

I see, so the advantage is you don't have to wait for a new page to load. Almost like when you click to edit a post on here. That does sound pretty handy to have. Most of the stuff on post page I don't use and the smilies I use most I have memorized.

I have enjoyed using it elsewhere, as it takes one step out of the process and lets you post with one click.

The window is displayed at the bottom of the page after the last message, and you just type in your message and click to add your post. There is a box to check if you want a quote inserted, as well:
