Small short story.

It will possibly be added to later on.

In Cheers, where everybody knows your name, except for the people who don't, there are lots of things to eat and even more things to drink.

In Boston, there are two Cheers restaurants: the replica, and the original. The replica is a duplication of the Hollywood set for the TV show, while the original is the inspiration for the TV show.

I along with another happy board member went to the Cheers Inspiration restaurant, and from the "eNORMous Burgers" section of the menu, I ordered a "Giant Norm Burger".

Only 16 dollars, US!

That's over half the price of a Sideshow Weta mini-helm!

Anyway.. you can see the menu page online here:

Here are pictures:

The middle pic, the one of me attempting to make like a shark and hyperextend my jaws to get around this beast, was photographed by Nessa.

I figure the burger was about 7 inches tall before I slammed my palm on it, flattening it to a more managable ~5 inches in height.

If you have a measuring tape, try figuring out if your jaw could handle that.

it's crazy

Did you manage to eat it all???

:google

Thats probably the equivalent to my entire daily intake!

Leave it to Nemo to go to Boston and report back on the food! :rollin

Burger looks good however!

yes... it is true... I found Nemooooooooooooooooo... and I took him and his mom and sis to Boston and we had a great time...

But I have to tell you... when we were at the restaurant... he was like... I can eat two of those huge burgers... okkkaayyyyyyyyyyy... hahahaha... so we said... first let us see you finish number one... and then order number two.

So the HUGE burger came... and... did Mister Nemo finish it????????

Let's ask our dear friend himself. ;)

So let the truth be told-
I couldn't eat it all in one sitting.

There are possible reasons why which are both legitimate and far-fetched, but ... <img border=0 src="https://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/frown.gif" />

This takes a person with a GIANT stomach, and a GIANT appetite at the same time!

my eyes, and unfortunately my words I spoke, were a little too eager and far more boastful than my stomach in its stretching power.

Though I did eat the rest of it the next day, and boy was I stuffed then too! <img border=0 src="https://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/sick.gif" /> <img border=0 src="https://home.earthlink.net/~dstephan/gifs/686.gif" />

Re: re

holy crap! that thing is ginormous!!! :thud i've never seen a burger that big. :rock

I like Boston food. Me and friend went for an Indian there once before seeing the Boston United vs. Bury Division 3 game, which Boston won 1-0. I was happy, supporting Boston, but Nat wasn't, supporting Bury :lol
Boston UK is the best Boston!
