If you created the thread, just edit it, but use the advanced edit and you can change the thread title.

I've tried, but it only changes it on the first post of the thread and not the visable thread title in the forum thread lists.

It may depend on how long it's been since the thread was created. If the title doesn't change in the forum listings, just request a mod to change it then; most of us will be happy to do it.

you just open another one in the right forum :D

I noticed i can only do this if i do it quickly. (you just click right next to the title)

I believe you have a 5 minute window, otherwise you need a mod.

Any particular reason for that?I don't think its a problem to allow the original poster to change the title of thread at any time.
