Hi everyone.

I am currently hard at work doing my LOTR lithograph art for TTT, but I just received the OK from Hasbro to post 3 out of 6 images of the art I did for Hasbro's Indy toy packaging. These are the raw images I painted without the logos or other elements that complete the box art.

Thought some of you Indy fans would appreciate a sneek-peek!

Great job! Are these for the 12" packages?

A litho? I'd love to, but that is not up to me. It is in the hands of ACME archives to show interest in a litho run.LOTR and New Line was a different story.
Yes, these are for the 12 inch figurs I believe. As soon as I get the actual package art file, I will post it.

FANTASTIC Jerry! I love these! I had noticed them on the packaging at Toyfair and wondered who had done the honors! Great work!!!

Not digging them. The characters look too stiff.

These IJ art pieces will look more complete when they are finalized as a complete toy box package. I'm looking forward to seeing the final version!

Whats funny is when I saw those pictures from Toyfair I thought they were photos of the actors... so I think that means you did a kickass job :rock

thats pretty cool. Tho i hope i'm not seeing groundbreaking spoilers....I'd be sad and dissapointed if i were. ;)

Nah. No earth-shattering spoilers there at all. The stuff in that toy itself is actually featured in the trailer and it should come as no surprise that there's an actual Crystal Skull in the movie. :monkey5

Jerry, no worries. I thought it might be your work (hard to tell in that size and style). But I agree, it's pretty cool.

By the way, CoolToyReview posted some hi-res images of the Hasbro INDY toys, including packaging. You'll see good pics of some of your stuff there:

Ok, but here's the actual product:

That's the terrible "Talking" INDY 12" figure... by far Hasbro's ugliest offering in the line thus far.

Wor-Gar

I wonder if it's even Harrison talking...or someone else like they did for that Elec. Maul.

galactiboy

Most likely someone else... and that is a pretty ugly figure. The other 12" Indy isn't too bad though, so maybe they kinda tried on that one.

But do you notice how the Crystal Skull looks alien in nature. Add that to the Roswell crate in the teaser and...who knows...

I fully expect flying saucers to come down in the finale. Lucas did say this is a "50's SciFi" Indy with an ending that may be 'controversial'.

Wow! Your stuff rocks! I've always been a big fan of your work. I hope they let you do an Indy litho. That would be so cool. Keep up the good work.

You can see in the trailer the temple transforming into some kind of transmitter or some such presumably for the aliens. And yes pix of the alien skull were leaked a couple of weeks ago.

As long as Indy doesn't fly away on the ship Close Encounters style.

Is the only difference between the Raiders Indy figure and the KotCS Indy the idol & skull accessory?

These sure remind me of the poster art that was out when Indy first came out. Very nice.

Yeah, the ending of this one ( INDY 4 ) will be a surprise, I'm sure.

Yeah... you could notice that as soon as the teaser one-sheet was released. It was obvious from the eyes alone that this skull wasn't based on human physiology:

Plus, the reference to "Chariots of The Gods" has been there all along.
