Well, I have all the Medallions, all the Plaques, all the art prints and only need one to finish the weapon sets. As for the rest, I need most of the busts and helms and a little more than half of the statues. Oh well, at least I will be collecting these pieces for a long time to come! :lol

Being a graduate or having a degree doesn't mean that much these days. I see plenty of muppets who can barely tie their own shoelaces but still come out with some qualifications.

In the real world, there is no substitute for experience and skill. If you can count backwards from 100 then woopy do but they can train monkeys to do that.

To me collecting is a completely different philosophy, and I don't feel the need to buy everything. I do, however, want to complete certain categories within the line.

I would like to get:

1. All of the Rider & Steeds (have all in hand or preordered---I don't count Sam & Bill)

2. All the lithos (need Gandalf on Gwaihir)

3. All the mini-monsters (need the Fell Beast)

4. Most of the environments (Helms Deep sucks--I sold it, and Orthanc is too expensive).

5. In addition to those, I'm getting Sauron and KOTD. I also would like to get the Treebeard bust at some point. That's it for me.

It's pretty funny how the pieces that remain for the rest of the year fall into one of my groups. I'm passing on Pippin, Eowyn, Galadriel, and PJ, but I've got everything else on preorder.

Well i'm certainly no completist.
I just collect the good guys primarily although I do have a couple of non-scary looking Baddies(Orig Balrog,Cavetroll,Saruman,RWOS,GOW and Morgul Lord).I'm a woos and don't like the bad guys, my collection is in my bedroom and they scare me(pathetic I know).

I simply must have the Horse/Rider series, all of which I have including pre-orders and Sam & bill as I do count him too.

I have the majority of what I want although to complete the Collection I would still LOVE a Witchking in Trueform(pesky thing, just can't seem to get one) and a Treebeard.So I will hunt for those once some others paid for.

hee hee, that happened to me once but with Gollum.
Back when I first started collecting I wanted everything and bought a lifesize cardboard cut out of Gollum, it gave me nightmares, so it lasted about 2 days and has been packed away ever since.

Yeah the baddies I got are facing away from me so they don't look too bad.Although the RWOS is much scarier than I thought it would be !.

MOS scares me in the film, can you imagine what I would be like with him in my collection.I'd never sleep again, :google
