Help me - please report bugs.

Some bugs popping up since the upgrade.

A few people have told me about getting a specific error message when attempting to post new threads. I've tried a couple of things to fix it, but seems to be still popping up.

I'd like to ask everyone to please let me know if you get an error message, even if it lets you post on a 2nd attempt.

If you do get an error, please cut and paste the error message to me in a PM.

I had an odd thing last night Dave... on my home computer, I would login and get the page that says thanks for logging in, but when I was redirected back to the home page, it acted like I wasn't logged in. This happened 3 or 4 times in a row, so I closed the browser completely and reopened and tried again, but got the same result. Later in the evening, it seemed to be ok again. Just thought I would mention it.

This occurs to me on my work computer but never at home. Usually with Firefox but never with IE....strange

Thats happened to me 4 or 5 times as well, but its happened to me before the last incident of site maintenance.

Still can't post in the FS/T section. I get routed to a white blank page, this time without any kind of error message at all.

I don't know whether this is a bug or not, but after I log in and then go to the commerce section, I am logged out automatically and have to log back in again.

i've been having a hard time logging in. I clear my cookies and x out the site and come back and still it won't log me in. I gives me the message, "thanks for logging in Vader AL...." but it still won't log me in.

Looks like I may need to take the board down and reinstall from scratch. But I don't think I'm going to do that on ToyFair weekend. So please bare with me and still report any bugs.

If you're having trouble logging in, please tell me if you're trying to log in from the home page or from the forum list page.

Not a biggie, but just thought you'd want to know.

Okay, I've made some more adjustments - so even if you've told me of a bug previously, let me know if you're still getting it.

Actually I'm having trouble there, for some reason the whole section displays differently. For instance when I click on a thread typically in the top left corner there is an option to go to the first unread post... not there, so I can't get to the new material.

But if I leave that section all the others work just fine.

the "home" button is a hack and I removed all hacks trying to solve the problem. It will be back once the issues are resolved.

Just wanted to mention I haven't noticed any slow downs or problems for a while now. Whatever you've done to the board really seems to have fixed any of the issues.

Ok, at about 12:04pm CST, I couldn't load any pages for about 2 minutes... IE just came back with the usual can't display page error. This is exactly what I have experienced in the past, and is about the same time of day the error has occurred (although not the only time of day).

No, it was happening after the upgrade, but seemed to have quit for the last couple of weeks. Yes, that is 10AM PST...

I've had this occur for the last several months, and always around the same times during the day; of course, I'm not on all day long so it could happen at other times as well, but for me, it seems to happen around mid-day, late afternoon/early evening and sometimes late evening (all CST)... that would be approximately 10am, 3pm-4pm, 7pm-8pm PST. It usually only lasts 2 or 3 minutes, but it is annoying...
