when you click on the link then click Join Chat you get nothing still?

I click on "join chat" and once I get into the main room, it says that there is 0 people and I keep getting:

Connecting to the server, please wait...
Unable to connect to server

Got in yesterday , can't get in today . Same problem as stated above . Damn !:bang

Right now I click on the window to get the chat up, then I see the space to put in my username, but there is nothing else to do after that, no button to push to join. Guess they are closed now?
I downloaded the latest java client, so I don't know what is the problem.

I couldn't either today Cherno, go into your history from yesterday and find the page that listed either Java or IRC, then click on Join Chat; it worked for me. I was having the same problem you were. Look forward to seeing you in there. :wave

How do you get into this thing? When I click on it I see the Java thing come up and my name and 6667 and www.sideshow.com....Blah, blah, blah....

But on Java there is not little icon/button to click to actually enter the room....How do you guys get in using JAVA??????

Java has been f'd up for me all week. I can get in occasionally, but I had to resort to vIRC.

This really sucks. Can nobody answer all these questions and tell us how to get in... i'm having the exact same problem.

Fill in username, then the only thing there are these two little icons at the bottom... i click the one on the left and it says connecting to the chat, but never actually does....:dunno :bang

Try using mirc and manually entering in the channel.
