Don't get excited!!! I am going to commission a local artist to create a life size lurtz bust for me. I was wondering if anyone has any images of a good facial expression?

I was thinking of a sculpt similar to that of the Lurtz bust but with his mouth open but any ideas would be gratefully received.

I'm sure I've seen a life sized Lurtz bust before....and a Moria Orc.....weren't they life sized? I can't remember....

There is a life size one already:

but I thought it looked a bit crap so I wanted one that looked more realistic.

What material is he doing it in? I know a fellow that will do it in clay and then cast in in resin. It will last forever, unlike anything made in latex.

Thanks for the images. I like the last one too but mabe with his mouth open a bit more (as in the first one).

He will cast it in clay and, if I like it, I will be getting several more done. I will of course post pics once I have it.

Any more images would also be very welcome.

If he makes copies, I'm in. I'm working on a 1:1 Predator head right now, and waiting for the dredlocks.

Of which materials the artisit will make the bust??, because the Rubies one is not really well done and its made of plastic :S.

He is going to mould it in clay. Create the mould and then make it in resin and then paint it. When I said that I would get more done, I meant that I would get him to do more characters e.g. Gandalf.

If he's making a mold and casting it in resin, then surely he can pour one more for a fellow 1:1 bust collector. :ar
