Just found out about this set today, and ordered immediately. Another set of dream figures becomes a reality for me.

They've revamped the site, and it seems to be a bit twitchy...

It went buggy on my first attempt too. I tried again about a half hour later and it went through.

I wonder what "Limited to only 500 pcs of initital production" means, exactly...
Does that mean that they will make an initial run of only 500, and then a second one?
Will these be somehow exclusive?

Not really sure, but for $100 for 2 figures I don't think you can go too wrong with these. I would have paid $100 for a Gort alone.

I couldn't believe it when I saw them. The only way I could be more excited is if they came with a 1/6 scale flying saucer.

Yep, he got the names from this movie. That phrase has a lot of significance, but I don't want to ruin it for you if you haven't seen the movie... and you really should see it. Its a classic :rock

That'd be the size of a room :lol Gort really has been a long time dream figure... stoked to see him getting made. I'm also really curious what else we'll be getting from Amoktime, they have a lot of ***** to produce some out there figures.

Yeah, I hope this is just the start of a long line of more obscure, cult releases. There's not many companies left that will release these types of low profile figures.

It just occurred to me, with that extra head I can do a "disguised" Klaatu as well.

the sculpt looks a little like the Michael Rennie from the scifimetropolis Lost In Space figures. I didn't see who is making these - could it be scifimetropolis?

Amoktime is saying they are making them... but not who is doing the work.

The N ot LivDead figure has "Executine Replicas" at the bottom of the photo, maybe that's what they are calling their own brand. The site must be getting bombarded because it's acting slow at my end, so I'm not able to access the other interesting figures they are doing. Slow aint the word. It's just on constant loading. I googled Executine Replicas, but nothing on them.
Does the Klaatu figure come with two heads? Mightn't matter if it didn't, with his helmet on, you could just have the head removed for your civilian Klaatu.

Does the Klaatu figure come with two heads?
Yup. One with normal hair, and one with flattened hair for the helmet.

Their site has been weird all day. I guess its a new one, so they haven't worked out all the kinks.

It's difficult to resist the temptation of ordering these...
There's this coolness factor about them that is irresistible.
