I am looking into getting the HT T2 Endo because it has been getting all kinds of awards from toy websites and polls as the best 12" figure of the year. I have seen in to eBay for about $170 - $200, and I wanted to get some opinions from everyone. For those of you who own the figure, is it worth that price?

No, that much money for something like that, I'd invest it somewhere else...JMO. It's a fragile piece, and can break easily...yeah, it looks nice, but there will be something else better coming out, I'd wait.

The battle damaged version is still available on Sideshow's site for retail price, and it's pretty much the same as the other but with a nicer base. I wouldn't pay a lot over retail for the figure, but it is very cool.

I Payed 111 bux for mine got it for a sweet deal.
GET IT MAN !!
the only thing with this figure is the light up feture on some of them dosent work so just a heads up.
Its a cool figure but I would pay more then 120 for him.
I got a video review up on youtube check it out.

Buy it. BUY IT! Personally I prefer the DB version (still available at SSC with the better base, and it's got a nice ES too: 600). The regular version is great also. Get both for maximum pleasure. Which ever you choose, get one!!!

Some may say it's fragile, but I haven't read any reports of one being broken so far. I have two, and they are both fine.

The regular version is also still in stock at vikingplayground.com for $129. If you are a Terminator fan, it is worth the investment.

Definately an amazing figure, all the pistons work with the articulation. There are some incredible pics in the Terminator thread showing finger, wrist, ankle articulation, etc. As far as the eyes, if they don't work you an just put a small bit aluminum foil in the battery compartment to achive better contact with the batteries. Mine work fine.

It is a bit delicate, so care needs to be taken when posing, especially the fingers.

If you are a fan of Terminator it is worth EVERY penny!! The enginering that went into this must have been back breaking. To fit as much detail that Hot Toys did into a 1/6 scale figure is nothing less than amazing. The articulation really sells this figure though. I mean every f'n finger I jointed like a human finger. The toes are jointed!! Its amazing, plus the light up eyes are nice little extra HT though in! Trust me, if you have been collecting for a few years and are familiar with figures that come out ten years ago, and to have this in hand, it really shows how far the hobby has come. This is a shining achievement by Hot Toys, I have near 100 1/6 figures and this is EASILY in that top 3 in shear quality!!

GET IT!!

I wouldn't worry about it being delicate, unless you don't know how to handle collectibles. If you are gentle with it you will have no worries.

Well, I have the regular edition, though I'd like to get the BD version. But anyway, the fig I have OWNZ! I love it and would trade it for nothing less than a real DeLorean. But that ain't gonna happen.:monkey2

I would not pay more than what you've found them for, though (which really doesn't make since if I'd only be willing to trade it for something as expensive as a DeLorean... regardless). You can def find it for less, somewhere. IN FACT, I got mine from Cornerstore Comics and it's still available.

I hope this was helpful.:D

No way. Like someone else said----it's very fragile and all around overrated.

Bought mine for about $120 and I still feel ripped.

and why is that exactly?

could you give us potential buyers some well thought objective reasons....instead of: "overrated and I feel ripped"

Get one!

I liked it so much I bought 12 of the regular and 2 battle damaged ones. I'm thinking about picking up a few more of the BD ones :)

I remember you talking about that. Do you have pictures of them all together? That would be pretty amazing.

As I said before, I think it's a great figure. As to whether it's worth the price, I think it's worth it to the same extent that other high-end figures are worth it. Probably more, because it's got some amazing design in it, not to mention the light-up feature. If you're a terminator fan, you really do have to get one.

I own the figure and I love it, sits right next to my Robocop and Predator. So it's like they are modern day movie monsters like the old Univeral ones, they are the definitive versions IMO. Seriously if you love Terminator and can swing it, then I'd say go for it, this figure deserves all of it's praise. But just like any Hot Toys collector will tell you they can be fragile if not handled properly ( I mean all HT figs for that matter ).
