double posting

i've seen alot of double posting. seems when clicking 'submit reply', if the publishing hangs up with the hourglass cursor, that some may be hitting the 'submit reply' button again. this may be why there's double or more identical posts.

when the hang up has happened to me, i simply click the new posts link and my post appears with only clicking 'submit reply' once. next time it happens to you, give it a shot. good luck.

Also, if you do double post you can always go back and delete the post... that way no one needs to be the wiser :cool:

pretty sure deleting the post can only be done by a mod.

No you can delete a post, I do it all the time when I double post, which is more often than I like to admit. I always forget that hitting reload does that.

Weird, I was going to double post that message as a joke and when I tried to it said it was a duplicate of a post I had posted in the last five minutes and was redirected. Too bad it doesn't work that way when you hit reload.
