I liked it on N64, so had high hopes for this version.

It was average...not too bad though. It reminded me how frantic it was in the N64 Turok to try and shoot a dinosaur that was chasing you down and the mix with actual human enemies is nice because the tactics you use fighting the dinosaurs are not the same as you do humans.

I'll wait for the review and see what else is said about the actual FULL game...the demo seemed a little rough to me in terms of some of the controls and graphics.

I'm really looking forward to the demo of "The Club." I've heard very nice things about it. It has hit everywhere but American PS3's. :monkey2

I guess my expectations were lower since I was let down by the last one... I thought it was pretty decent. It was much better than I anticipated, although it's probably going to be a victim of too much hype.

I am comparing it to Halo 3, Bioshock, and Gears of War. This doesn't even come close. That is why I say average at best.

Played the demo yesterday and don't feel compelled to by it when it releases, the cave level is extremely dark with poor lighting which makes it very hard to see your way around, and the poor creature design gives me feeling like I'm playing Dino Crisis

Good point. It doesn't hold a candle to those AAA titles, although it does seem to steal from them. I'd say it's a solid 6 or 7/10 though. Definitely not a $60 game, but when it drops to $20-30 in 6 months like every other game, I think it's worth a play through.
