Whilst the debate for Faramir / Denethor / Eomer went on, there was a lot of talk about multiple representations of the same character.
Aragorn / Elessar / AatBG
GtG / GtW / GoS
To name the most obvious ones.

It just struck me that nobody seemed to mind (or complain about) the one character that had more representations than most of the others: The Witch-king

Four statues
A bust
Two helms
A plaque

The only one surpassing that seems to be Gandalf:
Four statues
Two busts
A helm
Two plaques
A bookend set
A print

Actually, I do mind. ALOT. I can understand Gandalf getting so many representations, seeing as he's just about the most beloved character in the books, but the Witchking really doesnt deserve so many while other characters barely have anything at all or even nothing!

Well, I think Aragorn getting multiples and Gandalf are well deserved. The WK I can understand the complaints on him simply because Faramir and Denethor didn't get anything but he was a really cool character so I don't mind or care really that he got so many.

"humans don't sell well"

Glad they did more of the Wiki! Better looking and well worth it! Although a Denetor with grape juice on his face and KFC grease on his fingers would have been nice. :banana :lol

Yeah, the thing is though... that during the whole 'multiple debate' I can't recall any complaint or remark about the Witch-king.

HI LASHER 4 GANDALF STATUE AND 4 WITCHKING STAUES
IM STUPID BUT I LOVE MY WETA AND I CAN ONLY THINK OF 3 STATUES FOR EACH,
OH HANG ON MAYBE YOUR CALLING THE RINGWRAITH ON STEED THE WITCHKING, MAYBE ???
BUT WHATS THE 4TH GANDALF STATUE?????
:dunno

The RWoS IS the Witch-king (look at the sword...)

And the fourth Gandalf is the Bronze one.
Even though I personally do not see it as part of the series.

THE WITCHKING TRUE FORMS SWORD IS IDENTICLE TO THE RWOS SWORD, I GUESS HE IS PRETTY HUNCHED UP ON THAT HORSE (GREAT PIECE),
I JUST WASNT SURE ABOUT SIZE?
IS RWOS 1/6?

I WANTED A ROSEY STATUE
:help

Well, thats kind of my thoughts. I understand people saying well this character got this many while others didnt but the WK was an awesome character so complaining about him is a tad silly. I mean if your gonna complain about characters go look at stuff like the Dwarven Bust and some of the other non essential characters.

Hey Buz, you gotta try hitting that "Caps Lock" key from time to time. When you type in all caps, it comes across as if YOU ARE YELLING... :wave

Not trying to be a jerk, just trying to help out. :toast

Should we do a poll and ask:

Would you rather have 4 different Wiki's or 1 Farimir?

I know what the results would be, esp is everyone is honest.

You just didnt know you wanted that many character representations is all. Weta knows best.

I don't get what's so cool about the Witch King. I get what's cool about the Ringwraiths, but the Witch King is just another wraith as far as I'm concerned. While he leads the Nine, he doesn't do or say anything that really sets him apart from the other eight.

Personally, I could've done without the Twilight Witch King statue and bust, or at least one of the two. I'd trade my Witch King bust for an Eowyn bust gladly.

And although I'm a huge Gandalf fan, and have been since I first read The Hobbit, I wouldn't have minded going without a Gandalf the White statue on foot, seeing as we've got him on Shadowfax. Likewise, having an on foot and mounted version of Aragorn Elessar is a bit excessive. I'd trade the Gandalf the White, Elessar and Théoden statues for a single mounted Théoden.

As I've said before, the planning for the line has been incredibly shaky. There's lots of some things, and nothing of others... my biggest gripe personally is the Moria Orcs. Two statues and two busts (and a helm, weapon set and medallion), yet the combined armies of Gondor and Rohan are only represented by a single con-exclusive bust.

yet hobbits doo... <img border=0 src="https://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/frown.gif" /> like the pippin bust?

no.. but gollum?

2 statues
2 busts
1 medallion
1 book

Sigh. Far more than ought to have been. *complains*

:)

Actually I'm glad the witchking got a lot of representation, the only character I complain about is Gollum.

*plays with plasticine* tum tee tum

I agree with this completely. I've decided that I only want one statue of each character, which is why I haven't bought the Morgul Lord even though it is cool. The RWOS is all the Wiki I need. I think the regular Gandalf the While statue is completely unnecessary now that GOSF has been released. Same thing with Elessar. I'd sell both if I owned them.

I recently sold my Theoden statue also as he's not a major character that I need in my collection, but I would have kept a Theoden on Snowmane. Rider & Steed pieces are the main focus of my collection now.
