View Full Version : What Item Could Kill?

Don't ask why I was thinking this but what Sideshow LoTR statue or bust (no weapons) would do the most damaged if you hit someone with it?

I'm thinking the Cave Troll bust or the Mouth of Sauron would do a bit of damage to someone.

Cave Troll could probably knock someone out and the Mouth of Sauron has some nice stabbing spikes on his helmet.

Any others?

Interesting question....You seem to thought about this a little too much.:lol How about Gandalf on Shadowfax? Or for a more solid SS item Golden Hall. (looks like I'm thinking too much about this too:lol )

flinging the Mines of Moria at someone's head.
That would do some serious damage...

Think of it as if someone has just broken into your house to smash all your LoTRs items and you had to select one to bash him... or her, over the head with! :santa

I think the best way would be to use either the Balrog or Cave Troll bases (don't have either but they have to be heavy). The Sam & Bill base would be another good one.

As far as a piece, I don't have either but it seems like the Moria and Helm's Deep environments would be good since they both look like they have some weight to them and they're attached to the base.

What a dumb thing to write. Why the hell would some intruder go on a smashing rampage? :\ It would completely defeat the purpose of breaking in.
If I confronted some burglar, the last I would resort to using would be a large polystone statue...especially not to hit him on the head with. Perhaps you want to do time for some low-life, not I.

I guess threads like these should be expected given there's little to talk about now.

Not a very nice thing to say, this was only a hypothetical situation, doesn't NEED to make sense. This was just meant as a nice little thread for people to carry on a coversation without MUDSLINGING. But I guess that's not going to happen now is it?

Don't know what country or state you live in but in most states doing this would be considered self-defense. Somebody were to break into my house I would make sure to kill or mame them.

I don't think the CT bust would work as well, it isn't as heavy as it would seem to be. I vote mines of moria, or all three Stone trolls with base.

In the UK, I think it has something to do with the fact that the police aren't exactly bubbling with intelligence. A lot of them would also arrest their gran if she had a faulty break light.

Did you hear the one about the policeman who was so thick that even his colleagues realised...

Light hearted......discussing beating someone to death with poly........I see you have a warped sense of humour..............which is always nice:bow

Seriously though how much damage would polystone really do, you could hit a fly with a statue or bust and your collection would come off a hell of a lot worse than the fly.

I have to be careful I don't fart :fart near my collection for fear of something falling of an item.

Actually in the U.S., you can't use deadly force to defend property. You can, however, use reasonable force to defend that same property. You can only use deadly force if you reasonably believe that your life or your family's life is in danger.

For example, if you come home and some kids from your neighborhood have broken into your house and are looting your poly, you can't just bring out the shotgun and blow their heads off. There has to be a real danger to your own life (ie: you have to think the crook has a knife or gun).

If some punk broke into my house, My property that I've worked for.
I wouldn't need a weapon I'd probably kill the bastard with my hands.

And if I had a family, well stand by. I'd probably get sent to jail for
defending what's mine, and protecting what's in it. But least I'd have
the satisfaction of doing just that.

I'd have to say the best bang for the buck would be Suaron's Helm. It only costs under $60, and easily replaceable. As for UC Sting, once it gets bent out, you'd fork out more money to replace it. So, if price to blood ratio is considered, Sauron's Helm for sure.

jesseawilson
