Xbox 360 vs PS3 VS Nintendo Wii poll

Which system do you think is the most fun.

That's easy the 360.

Before I get blasted I have all of them. The 360 has better games and their online service is second to none. Plus the majority of the games end up better on the 360 as well. This is because they are developed for the system then ported to the PS3 and Wii.

However, that being said I think Drakes fortune for the PS3 is one of the most funnest games I have ever played. :cool:

Oh and the Wii can't touch either one except in hype. They have few exceptions to this. 3 actually. They are Mario, Metroid, and maybe Zelda. That is the short of the Wii.

I have both 360 and Wii. I use the 360 all the time , the Wii every once in a while. I have thinking of getting a PS3 as a few more games come out for it. Whats funny is I remember when XBOX came out I had a hard time with the controller , then I got use to it and mostly used XBOX, then 360 not the PS2/PS3 controllers are a pain to use now.

Guess it all depends on which games you like more. I love the playstation games...and yeah there are a few out there solely on Xbox 360 that I would like to play, but I wanted to stick with what I know and love. :) Plus one more console would mean I would be spending way too much on games. :lol Plus I have a HD DVD player and needed a blu-ray. :)

It's all about the games, and right now, the 360 has the most exclusive A-quality titles. I almost voted Wii, but Galaxy is really the only game I care about. The PS3, well I'm waiting for Dual Shock 3 and maybe another price cut.

I remember watching a interview with a developer & they said it was financially not viable for them to develop for the wii as they can develop & 360/PS3 exclusive then 6/12 months later port it to the PC as well

Regarding your list, like I said, the crap to quality ratio is terrible on the Wii. There are far more garbage games than quality games. The thing is though, I enjoy the quality games on Wii much more than the quality games on 360. I'm just not into the Halo type games anymore. I just feel like I've been there, done that. The games I want aren't on 360, they're on Wii.

I much prefer games that try something new, like Trauma Center or Elebits. In all honesty, if not for Wii, I'd probably be done with console gaming altogether.

What I really want, if I can't have something entirely new, is the arcade style gameplay that Dreamcast offered to make a comeback. I loved games like Crazy Taxi, House of the Dead, and Samba de Amigo.

Sure there's Guitar Hero and DDR, but I can get that on any platform now.

So yeah, I guess Kit is right, I do think pretty much everything is garbage. I have a certain preference and no matter how much I might try to change that, I can't.

So am I voted off the island?

Not at all. I was just interested to see what types of games you liked to play. At the end of the day to each his own.

gta4 will have exclusive content on 360 & there's the possibility of GoW2

gone are they days of games appearing on only 1 system unless their in-house developers

sheer number on 360 sold compared to PS3 means most games will appear sooner or later

It's not even about exclusives to me when i look at what the PS3 has coming out in the future i feel more than satisfied.(cross platform or whatever)To me 360=good games ****ty unit. Ps3=good blu-ray player/unit, good games coming.

GTA exclusive content i could care less and i'm a HUGE GTA fan.Theres so much to do in GTA exclusive content is the least of my worries,Plus rockstar has already hinted about both systems having their own downloadable content.

I also have all three and I wouldn't trade my 360 for a Wii and PS3 combined if I had to choose. Kudos to Microsoft because in the previous generation of consoles, the PS2 was King closely followed by the Gamecube. The only reason I had an original XBox was because of Doom3.

I forget the number but the amount of money Sony's gaming division lost was astronomical. 360 may have hardware issues but I would like to see the failure rate % over time compaired to the PS3 over time. I bet those numbers aren't so different. Then you have the PS3 which has a negative margin for Sony. For those who don't know what that means, they lose money on EVERY single unit they sell. Sony once again sat back and thought they could do what ever they wanted and they would be king like before. I believe the seriously underestimated the 360 and even more the Wii. I would say that the PS3 is a good multimedia device, basicly is BluRay DVD player that happens to be able to play video games. I believe I reading something at some point that said a large % of PS3 were puchased as BluRay DVD player not a gaming system.

The last stats from August said that only 40% of PS3 owners know it plays Blu-Ray and only about half of them have ever used it to play Blu-Ray. And a good percentage don't even know it's HD. But then there's also a good percentage of Xbox 360 owners who don't know it's HD, and a good percentage that have know idea what the Xbox Live Arcade is.

polls/questions like this are utterly pointless as it's all down to individual taste, and there is no correct answer. I've played most of the consoles that have existed over the years and pretty much universally they all offer something... it just depends what you like.

Also, each of the consoles is fun.... depending on the games you're playing. I've played all 3, and they're all great..... questions like this just add fuel to the flames of fanboyism

having said that... I have and love my Ninty console.... (I loved the idea of it since it was announced.... finally.... something different)

My boss really wanted to get her daughter a Wii for Christmas. Ofcourse, she decides now when it is practically impossible to find one at any of the stores around here. Ended up getting her one on ebay....with the sports pack it came to $450!!! Couldn't believe it. My PS3 I just bought was half of that. Atleast now I'll finally be able to try this out because I don't think I would ever get one for myself.

The main purpose of releasing the HD-DVD drive separately was so that it the format bombed they could easily release a Blu-Ray version, that way they weren't tied to one format.
