Using a Gif as an Avatar

Hey all,
I'm trying to use this gif for my avatar, but for some reason the animation won't work? Is there some special way to upload these?

Oh, I think I figured it out... the a n u s part of my link is blocked by the language filter:lol

Okay, so maybe not the language filter... I fixed that so the image is now viewable, but in my avatar the animation doesn't work?

I tried uploading the direct file, and adding the url of the image... any help would be appreciated.

cannot help you with the gif avatar, but this can not be a big problem and will be solved in no time I think

I couldn't get it to work either. Can you post a copy of your avatar without the snow?

We have a winnah! Creech was right about the size.

Turns out when I cropped the animation, the image size enlarged to 80X81... that extra 1 screwed it up. Although strange it still showed up w/o the animation?!?

No. I've decided to keep mine just the way it is. I was going to see if I could animate yours, but didn't think about something as simple as changing the size. :lol

Thanks, that was nice of you. I had done the animation, but I guess that size kept it from working... kinda odd. But thats computers, sometimes its better not to ask why and just appreciate that it works :lol

That's sort of why I was freaked out last week when my avatar was a smaller size because I changed my email. I couldn't figure it out.
