I couldn't find the old post I made, so I guess it went bye-bye with the board restore. Anyway, here's an update on my Boromir bust my friend Paul is doing for me. Could Faramir and Denethor be far off? Who knows?

One thing I wonder- did you take the base from a smashed bust? it's the exact same type as a Sideshow Weta bust.
or did you somehow copy it to look pretty much identical?
if so, how? lathe?

I'm glad everyone is liking it as much as I am. Mr FB, do mean my cost for the original, or for a copy? Nemo, the base is from a new Isildur bust that was sacrificed. I want it to match my other fellowship busts. Matt, thanks for your little "contribution", It will be worth it in the end.

WOW... I'm not much of a bust collector, but if this one had been a SSW production I would have bought it.
Not that I don't want it because it isn't SS, but because I guess the Edition number will be very Limited!

Wow! That is REALLY good!
You should set a limited edition number for it and get some more made! Then you could sell them... I'm not sure about copyrights and all but you could sell a 'box' for X amount and then have a 'free' bust inside!
