I discovered I don't like rpgs. Give me a shotgun and I am happy

I was doing the free trial for WOW and did not like it at all. I am more of a first person shooter and don't like the way they fight in WOW. I want to do my own killing.

try "the elder scrolls 4" oblivion. its kinda like a first person shooter but with swords and bows and spells. no online or multi player though.

:rock :rock :rock I'm the same way...I did get into the Final Fantasy games for awhile....but waiting for your turn and all that drives me crazy. Never tried any of the WOW games. Right now I'm trying to get through Resident Evil 4 and I'm realizing that I'm too trigger happy and keep running out of ammo at all the wrong times. :lol

Actually I'd say Mass Effect more than KOTOR, in KOTOR you still walk around a lot and combat is just choosing different kinds of attacks and watching your character fight and hope you win. But in Mass Effect the combat is a third-person shooter so you aim and fire so you have more control which is more like playing the FPS games, although really more like Gears of War.

Kotor series is pretty good. Too bad those idiots at LA rushed the second, which seems unfinished(Which it really is. Look it up on google if you want more info).

But yeah, Mass Effect looks like and RPG with first person shooter, and it looks pretty good.

It was actually Obsidian Entertainment that messed up KOTOR2, they created too many game bugs and had a poor plot, plus the game was missing parts of quests, and a whole planet that was supposed to be there.

I'd have to say that mass effect and the elder scrolls 4 oblivion are my 2 favorite rpgs. Fantastic games and tons of hours of fun... :D
