Errr, "Frankenfan" b/w forum banner??? What the heck is a Frankenfan? Sounds like a German appliance or something made by Volkswagen. Maybe I need some coffee and then revisit this.

Hey there's finally an advantage to dial up, when I was pulling up the page the new banner took awhile to load and it stayed on each picture for several seconds. Too bad this isn't something I want (plus I don't know the names of anything I saw.). :lol Good luck to everyone.

I'm really keeping my fingers crossed... Hope I didn't screw it up. :lol
I've been going over and over it since I entered and I haven't seen anything I missed. My connection is too fast. :D

I just saved it, zoomed in very close and stared... Moving quadrant to quadrant until I was certain I didn't see any hidden images. :lol

So what were the answers? I tried looking at all of them closely, and all I could find was Mort, all of the Dead figures, and Shaun and ED.
Although for about 20 minutes I was agonizing over the center image with Shaun and Ed, it appears to be the King of the Dead from LOTR, but after looking through the movie, it didn't appear to be him and looked more like Subject 560. So I hope I'm right about that. :monkey3
I got my answers by doing a QUICK screen capture of the entire page wen it flickered, then pasted into photoshop, then figured it out. This took me a good 1.5 - 2.5 hour, many "misfires".
http://www.members.cox.net/spenner/SS black white friday contest/SSF contest.JPG
So I believe answers are:
All of the Dead: Patient Zero, Subject 5 security guard, subject 57 doctor, subject 560 corporate spokesman, subject 805 tactical conatinment operator, Mort, and Shaun and Ed. These answers in this reply were just off top of my head, I made sure to send exact wordking from SS site.
Hope the copy/paste on super fast reflexes of screen shot doesn't disqualify me. I couldn't focus long enough to get it any other way, so I had to get creative.
Edit: Crap, just noticed I didn't include "frankenfan" on my answer. Hmmmmm
Well those are the same answers I put. :rock :rock

Me too. and unless frankenfan is a sideshow product, I don't think his inclusion is correct.

well... it's not so much a sideshow product as Dave mentioned it was 'characters' shown... but FrankenFan doesn't count cuz... we say so.

You guys are making this more difficult than it is. However, the tricky part is to name all of the characters in the correct order of their appearance in the animation. :monkey5
...I was agonizing over the center image with Shaun and Ed, it appears to be the King of the Dead from LOTR...
No King of the Dead, but, all of the Dead zombies appear in the background of the Shaun and Ed frame (Subject 57 is blended with the PZ target that comes with Subject 805):

Sorry Bum, but that remark disqualifies your entry. Best of luck to everyone else! :D

I know that I didn't copy them in the correct sequence. That last ctrl-alt-print screen took awhile to get, cause when I missed, I had to wait for the other four to flash through. I think I figured image flashed every ~6 seconds, and then I missed, I had to wait another ~24 seconds to see the same image again.
I don't think sequence would matter as far as right/wrong answer goes.

Crap, you had to list them in order of appearance? I hope you're joking because I guess I lost this one. Oh well, not a huge fan of the Phantom anyways, still I would like to have my first Premium Format figure someday.

It was not required to list them in order. :D Or atleast it doesn't mention anything of the sort in the rules. I think most of us would miss out if that were the case. :lol

Yes, the monkey and I were only joking! :monkey3
No smoke, no mirrors, you just had to name the characters that appear in the different frames of the animation. And, just to be clear, the "hidden" zombies in the background of the Shaun and Ed frame, don't count!
Bum is still out of the running, though.

Scott got it right below - those are the answers - order didn't matter and even though Kurt is a real character, you didn't need to include "Frankenfan". No points lost if you did though.
Winner next post.
