yea that's true. So is 800 points like $8? $.01 per 1 point ?

Not really, I think 1200 points is around $15 and you can buy like 500 points for $6.25 or something so a point is worth a little bit more than $0.01

I know you can buy pre-points cards at best buy, but you can manually put in your card number through xbox-live if you want more points

The map descriptions sound cool

This will breathe new life into Halo for me and others that have been playing COD4, I was sick of playing the same damn maps over and over.

For the questions about buying the points for xbox live, you can buy them as a card at stores then enter the code or you can enter your credit card info on xbox live via your console (totally safe, no worries) and then you can add whenever you want. That's what I do.
