Hello all,
My name is Erick Sosa and I am freelance sculptor.
I happen to be working on some cool things for Sideshow among other companies, and I am very glad to be working with the guys again.
I sculpted Chucky (2 versions for SS as well).
I have to confess I wasn't aware of this place...I like the threads and the environment seems really cool!
Take care,

Welcome bro. It's always great to have the very talented people that feed our obsession among us.

Don't be shy but stay out of the sand box :monkey3

And don't worry about what those guys at Sideshow tell you, it's perfectly ok to discuss what you're working on with us. There's no secrets among Sideshow Freaks. :D

If one of those Chucky's was the 15" then I have to say that everyone at my work is terrified of him and thinks he looks creepy as hell... so great job. :D

in which section!

You can show it here, but usually we see them either in the custom section (even though your stuff becomes production) or sometimes in the relevant forum. Like SW, Horror, etc.

in which section!

Welcome Erick! It's great to see another artist here amongst us! ANd feel free to post anything you do that is not contracted in the customs thread. We will be happy to see any of it! :rock :rock

Welcome aboard Erick. Please do show your work - probably the relevant section would get the most exposure. So Chucky would go in horror, etc.

Erick gave me my first sculpting job helping him out on some figures-that-never-came-to-be. He's a great guy and an AMAZING sculptor!

Hey Erick,

Welcome to the boards. Andy (Bergholtz) will occasionally show private comms and personal stuff here. I never get around to posting stuff myself since everythings already on SSC and McF sites, and I don't have time for comms or personal projects. You'll see Trevor on here occassionally, but I don't know if I've seen any of his work posted on here. Anyway, it makes a great site for connecting to the fans and collectors, or just giving your eyes a break from staring at wax. Great to see you here. And yeah, great work on Chucky.

Oh hey, Trev! We must have been posting at the same time. Heheh! How's life in SoCal? Staying clear of the blaze?

Welcome Erick :fireworks and I really like your work :clap

10-26-2007, 04:12 PM
wassup guys?
Trevor is perhaps one of the coolest sculptors I have met, and very humble.
I hardly have time for my own stuff as well, now I have a team of people helping me out and it gives me a bit more time to work on my own stuff every now and then....I will also be showing some works by a good friend of mine who sculpts mostly in sculpey and epoxy....he's awesome ! I can already see this place is very cool.
