Welcome to the 1st ever Sideshow Freaks Halo 3 team tournament.
This tournament will be divided into 2 sections:

Qualifying
League

AFTER MATCH DAY 2

THE PRIZE
There is no prize, just the prestige of knowing you guys are the best of the best :D

QUALIFYING
Qualifying will consist of 2 rounds of solo slayer. Each round will consist of 11 games (1 per map) and will be scored on your kill/death ratio per map after all 22 games

Round 1 - Saturday 13th October - 7pm EST
Round 2 - Sunday 14th October 7pm EST

Respond in the thread your interest/gamertag to participate (serious participants only)

Closing date for entries is Thursday 11th October@ 9pm EST

If you want to win the tournament, I would advise you to play your best during qualification.
ALL WILL BE REVEALED AFTER QUALIFYING!!

Sorry guys, I just can't get out of work early tomorrow :(

I would have loved to. Retail management sucks. If I was one of my sales people I could just have a very sudden illness around 3 o'clock, you know that Halo Flu that's been going around? No surprise no other managers want to cover for me on a Saturday though.

We'll be pretty much playing each other so it's ok (just be sure to take out Badmoon before he gets me)

At 7pm EST I'll log in & starting sending out invites, I'll be party leader so after every round I can note the individual scores, maps will be random, but every map will be played & none twice.

Qualification will commence @ 7:10pm to allow for late arrivals

Serious competitors should maybe use their spare time to familiarise themselves with maps not played often like 'construct' (weapon locations etc.)

Given the competitive nature, expect strong language tonight (from certain members) :D:lol

Remember tonight is only the 1st half, qualification will finish tomorrow night

K/D ratio is the fairest way as your deaths help other players score, so it counts you scoring as well as you allowing opponents to score

I Sucked on pretty much every map, plus had some odd issues never got the game to load for one full round I could hear sound but no video, and one I died 2 or 3 times just out of the blue no one around no one got credit just died.

I did have at least one good moment.

Bad thing was that even my camera batteries were dead... so no go on the pics of my new paint work either. Bad all around for me tonight thanks to that. Now I have 4 recharging batteries and an ill disposition. Freakin batteries. :monkey4

Doesn't matter for seedings! Only + - matters LOL. I am looking forward to seeing how we all officially ended last nights matches, I think I was a little better then I was on Saturday night. Maybe not much, but I do hope there was some improvement.

Thank you sir. I am happy to improve my kill/death ratio by just over 2 per game since Saturday. I would have done better if it wasn't for my terrible 1st round of -10. I think I must have still been buzzing from that Shotties in Isolation WIN!!! :D

Wouldn't it have to be two wildcards though since it's team play next? Teams would be uneven. At least I thought it was team play next. I could be wrong.

Yeah, just have to be careful. If best player ends up with "worst" player ( wildcard ) then you could have Yippe and Bad Moon on the same team...game over:lol, but if I ended up on that team with them then it's ok :monkey3

Last place gets 1st pick from the 14 seeded players & at the end we will have 2 teams of 4 & 2 teams of 3

The teams of 3 will then get to choose from the 2 wild cards (order of choice will remain in the same pattern)

Just an idea you could for the following rounds tell us to rank our top 5 1 -5 and you get the highest ranked one thats left. That way you dont have to constantly send pms and wait. I could make it easier on you that way all you have to do is respond saying here is you round 2 pick and here is whos left rank them.

OK......every PM me their top 5 choices & when your choice comes around you'll get the highest priority player that's still available on your list

If all chosen then I'll contact you (obviously players in the top 5 probably won't need to PM me)
