I would like to know if any of you was lucky enough to have purchased 12" general Pershing figure (only 500 were made..) I want to hear the opinions of the proud owners.

I got him and I think he's one of the better B&B figures produced. A little light on the accessories, but a great figure. He has tiny plastic general stars on his epaulets and plastic eagles on his collar. This with the great hat and buttons show a true attention to detail. His pants are a corduroy-looking material too which was also used on the Australian Light Horseman I believe. My only problem with him would be his ribbon bar which doesn't have any detail and looks too colorful.

I'd say he's well worth the price and if they want to continue doing B&B figures this limited and at this price I'd buy them all.

I had to have one as my Daddy served under him in the US Cavalry in the Great War (They sent over the troopers, but no horses. Daddy spent the war in Paris until they shipped him back home). Blackjack is a sterling figure and one of the true prizes of my collection. He has inspired me to build up more of my WWI soldiers.

I don't know if you're interested, but there's a couple up on eBay at the moment. One is halfway through a five day auction with no bids and a $49.99 starting price.

Here's a review I did for Mike's website.

I was very pleased at the detail SST put into such a limited figure.
