My Blackbeard review....

I'm back from my vacation, rested, relaxed, and absolutely buried. For those sending me mail or entering the poll, sorry about any bounced messages. I managed to get over 50 meg in email in the last few days! The poll is fixed again, and all should be working fine.

Tonight's review covers the brand spanking new Blackbeard figure from Sideshow, the first in their Live by the Sword line. He's pretty damn sweet, and one of the better Sideshow figures I've picked up in awhile. Buffy and Angel should be here within the next couple weeks too, so it looks like a big Sideshow month!

Yep, I agree with Michael's review. I like how Sideshow takes chances with the head sculpts, I get bored with the stoic expressions from the other companies.

Sounds awesome, thanks for the review :) . It's a very cool figure, but unfortunately it's a 'maybe' for me due to Sideshow LOTR/Buffy/X-Files.

One question though, Michael. Is it just me, or are the photos tinted red for some reason?

Actually, there's a couple that are - I was on vacation last week, and my picture taking needs changed. So I had made many changes to lighting, f-stop, etc. in various situations. When I got back home, I accidentally set up how the camera handles artificial light incorrectly. I noticed about half way through shooting the shots, but really didn't have time to go back. My bad!
