Several weeks ago I received a reply from one of the "head cheeses" at SideShow. I was told that they would be showing Nathan Bedford Forrest, U.S. Grant and that they were seriously looking at making Abraham Lincoln. I have found that the people at Side Show are very interested in your thoughts and ideas. As stated in another category, I, too would really like to see them make the fife and drum series.
Thanks,
Brent

Looks Forrest to me. Here's a pic of the guy...

A bit of a daring choice, seeing as how he was the first Grand Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan, but he was an excellent general, and he'd make a good complement to Sherman, who once stated that Forrest was to be "hunted down and killed even if it costs 10,000 lives and bankrupts the Federal treasury."

I guess he caused some serious problems for him, eh?

I saw Grant in the coverage by Figures.com. He looks to be still a work in progress. I will be writing Sideshow about releasing Mr. Lincoln. He is a figure that I have long wanted. He will look great in my "Hall of Statesmen".

One of the reps from SideShow said that they are definitely finishing up on Honest Abe. Will debut some time soon, probably in a couple of months.

YES! Make Honest Abe! They should also make Washington in the fife and drums line. Or better yet, just start a presidents series.

Now you have my attention. Put me down for Abraham Lincoln. This would most curtainly be a fabulous figure that only sideshow could do just right. I'm sure the brotherhood collectors would jump on that one. Hey, I've waited with anticipation for US Grant, now he's coming. He'd be a good one for 1/4 scale too.:D

:mwaha

Hmm... General Grant just about cost a Grant ($50 Bill). Does this mean Abe will cost an Abe ($5 or penny :b )?

How soon can we see the preview/pre-order?
