G'day All
A while ago I managed to pick up a copy of the 1990 Captain America movie starring Matt Salinger. For me it was still very enjoyable and brought back great memories of Captain America. The movie may have dated a little and may not be in the same league as the current Superhero movies, but I still feel this was an excellent representation of Steve Rogers / Captain America.
Imagine my joy when I spotted this figure on Ebay recently. To me it was the closest that I would come to having a Captain America 1/6 scale movie figure. This figure has been made by a well known Superhero customiser GreyDeath http://www.toymania.com/custom/Galleries/Greydeath/greydeath1.htm
He has produced a few variations of Captain America but I feel that this one has a very close headsculpt to Matt Salinger. The only thing I felt needed changing to make him look more movie accurate were the wings on his cowl. The movie wings were larger and a different shape to the comic book version which were the ones that GreyDeath had fitted.
While not 100% movie accurate I feel he is the closest to a movie version that you can get and he look freakin awesome as well.
Enjoy some pics
