I for one would love to get my hands on a Frankenstein 1:1 bust.
I'd also be down for a Creature from the Black Lagoon! And if you twisted my leg I'd probably also pick up Dracula and the Blue Mutant.
Would anyone else pick these up if Sideshow made them? Does anyone know of any exisiting 1:1 monster busts on the market? I know there's the CineArt ones, but they're under scale, right?

Right there with, you, Wonderboy! Though at Sideshow prices, it would have to be a dead ringer.
Mrs. FF gave me the CineArt's bust for Christmas a few years back.

The sculpt is not bad but, the paint job is. THough it may not be evident from the photo (I've got a pretty big noggin), I'd say it's 1:1.
I've seen it repainted (http://www.gremlins.com/mmf_97/frank.jpg) and it looks great.
Here're some links to more 1:1 busts and kits:

Cool! Thanks for the links!
I've also been dying to get that Harrison Ford Indy bust. I plan to make a replica similar to the one on that site.
I remember years ago a company made 1:1 Frankenstein's with moving glass eyes and they retailed for around 10 grand. That was for the whole monster, not just the head.
When you think about it, it's surprising SS HASN'T made a 1:1 Frank bust. I mean, that's the guy who really kickstarted the whole company. The small figure, the little big head, etc. Forget about James Bond, Van Helsing, Buffy and all that nonsense, BRING ON MORE MONSTERS!!!
BTW - anyone catching the old Hammer movies on the Universal HD channel? Evil of Frankenstein was on late last night in High Definition and MAN did it look awesome!!!

Yeah I actually have the Harrison Ford Indy Bust from Howard. Wow....just Wow!!! His work looks better in person than the picks on his site can show. I've been kindly e-mailing now and then with an occasional wink, wink, nudge, nudge for a 1:1 scale Buffy and Angel. No luck as of yet.

Hey FF, it depends on which version you got. Cineart did several versions of the Frankenstein bust. The common version sold at Spencer Gifts was a 3/4 version. They had 1:1 versions, but they were very expensive; some were professionally hand painted or had robotic eyes, etc. Yours looks a lot like mine which was the Spencer version and yes, I was very disappointed by the paint job also!
