I am dying to see photos of the real Der Dindestod. Could any of you who got him post some pics?
Thanks

I did see some photo's, but it was in either a review, or they were in pages we lost in the hack attack.
Nice banner you have up there Dave, I see all the news of him coming, and that some have him in hand already. I know I must wait, and it has it's benefits. In the meantime, I can take a break and look at that grotesque abomination on the boards banner, and delight in the fact that it will be more grotesquer and abonimable in person.
Oh man, :lol them eyeballs are just wild. Either stalked or unstalked. Dooley, your demented enthusiasm is what will get you strangled the next time you see Mat. I suggest you wear a neck brace to your next meeting, oh and a polo neck jumper. It will give you a feeling for what Ygor would have been through and why he seemed to always have had such a stiff neck. :lol
Oh that is just so sweet. I am loving that figure. I like teeth and fangs (check avatar) and with his choppers, I am loving it. The Met Mut is a distraction but there is plenty of time to oogle that. I'm a ooglin this.
( check avatar ) ( check it again ) ;)

She was singin'
Don't turn around, uh-oh
Der Kindestod's in town, uh-oh
You're in his eye
And you'll know why
The more you live
The faster you will die

I agree the hands are awesome. They really add to the over all creepy factor of the figure. The tailoring is great too. It is the first figure I have noticed (beacause i had to undress him to get the twistie out) that they added an elastic strap to keep the shirt tucked in. Great added feature to help with the overall look of the figure. The buttons, shirt under neath is long sleeved. There were no corners cut on this figure. I am very pleased!

I really noticed the tailoring since this outfit is very similar to the Gentlemen, but it fits so much better. Since Mowry came in to clothe the PFs they've used his considerable skills to improve the 1/6 outfits as well, and it's really made a difference.
And the hands really do make this figure (as if the head sculpt wasn't enough).

I am absolutely amazed with the eyestalks as well. The design is unbelievable, they fit easily and very securely. No worries about them falling out. And once in place the lines blend into the rest of the sculpt.
Believe it or not, my kids were fascinated with this one as well. I've never seen them take such an interest in any of the other figs. They sat and studied for quite a while after I put it in the display.

What about the hat, is it removable?

This figure is just amazing! Very very cool - easily one of my favs from the Buffy lineup - a very unique character. Now bring on Giles :p

The hat is removeable. In fact it tends to slide off a bit.
