It took a while but I totally caved in.
Orlok is no longer for sale and back on display, LaM is on the way and it's all the Phantoms fault for being so bloody cool.
Now the question is simple, should I get the SSE Frankie or the regular? Some people reported not liking their SSE but I never found out why. I'd love some pics.
Same would go for Dracula, but since the SSE hasn't shipped yet... :p

Please please pretty please relieve me of this dilemma that's been bothering me for weeks :help

I have both, and after examining the Silver Screen version, I find I really like the original "color" version better, so much so that I am returning the SSE version on Monday, and cancelling my pre-order for SSE Drac. While the "Silver Screen" idea was ok for the 8-inchers, and possibly even the 12-inchers, I just don't see the point in the 1/4 scale figures; I don't buy into the " it represents the characters as portrayed on the screen better" argument.

Are there actually any dealers left that have the regular frankie in stock I wonder?

I am similarly disappointed in the SSE version of Frank and have inquired about returning it as well. The SSE vampyre is excellent, but Frank looks like a big doll. He is very static looking and the color palate is very dull. I probably won't cancel the SSE drac, but a little worried. The exclusive SSE's are much pricier and the lack of color may not be worth the extra money. But, Vampyre was very well done and I'm keeping that.

SSE Frank looks very cheap. I sold mine the day I got it. The quality is just not there.

I only collect the color versions. The black & white versions don't do it for me.

Gruson, do you think the regular version is any better in terms of quality? I am debating whether to skip Frank all together.
