Some of you might remember that I asked about positive customer service examples a while back. While this is all tied into the postcard project you might have noticed at the top of the forum.

Luckily I saved that thread and the "joys of Sideshow" thread before ezboard lost them all.

I just wanted to check with you all to make sure no one has a problem with being quoted. Your statement will be followed by your board name. Of course there will be editing and maybe spelling fixes.

If anyone has a problem with their quote being used on the postcard (and perhaps elsewhere in SSF or SSC promotions), please let me know by PM or email max@maxwellsgoldenhammer.com (max@maxwellsgoldenhammer.com)

And if there is anything you'd like to add about what you like about Sideshow or their customer service - please go ahead and post in this thread. I'd like to hear from more people that posted originally too.

Thanks!

I'm fine it it, and I'd like to add a new experience. When I got my Der Kinderstod I was pleased to find a FREE Mr. Burns bust as a special gift. Sideshow is the only company I know that would randomly insert a kind "thank you" like this. :rock

Favorite Company EVER!

Here's a postitive one, kind of...I won a contest sponsored by SS on the Absolutely James Bond board (www.ajb007.co.uk) for a Tim Dalton, Franz Sanchez LTK set. After some time with nothing in the mail, I emailed the Bond board moderator, who in turn said that they've forwarded my details to SS. So I called SS, and low and behold the person in charge of contests forgot about following through (maybe he/she had it on a post-it note, which fell off the computer monitor, or something). Well, anyway, the guy I talked to was very apologetic, and assured me that he would take care of it, which he did. So that is my positive SS customer service experience.

Well, in fairness, let me post about my "bad experience." When I bought my Dr. No figure at the time it had just came out, I did not realize until I opened it that it had two left white boots. I then called SS, and the gal I spoke to said that they would replace one of the left boots with a right one, just as long as I mailed them the boot as proof. I then asked if they would reimburse me for the cost of mailing them the left boot, and she said...no. So, I reiterated my question, saying, "my Dr. No figure came with two left boots, through no fault of my own, and you will replace one of them as long as I mail it back, but you won't pay for my mailing cost even though the mistake is Sideshow's?" to which she said, that's right, no, they will not.

Now, come on, I am not poor and could afford $4 postage 10 times over, but it's the friggin principle, and any good business should live up to basic principles, especially if it will only cost them $4. I'm not trying to create a conspiracy by cornering Sideshow's supply of spare, white right-side, Dr. No radiation boots.

By the way, I am in the business of quality and customer satisfaction, and I think I know what I'm talking about.

I have had to call Sideshow several times from over the pond and have to say that Jennifer and her team do a marvellous job. The California sun almost shines out of the phone's speaker lighting up another dull Brit day.

Seriously I cannot praise these guys highly enough!:toast

Sorry, but I must Praise Sideshow once again. I just got my 2 Dogget Figures (exclusive and non) and I recieved another Simpsons bust -Willie, another favorite character of mine!

Sideshow is hands-down the BEST company on this or any other planet. They have the BEST, kindest, and most generous customer service team around. No other collectible company cares about its customers as much as Sideshow :rock
