What are your thoughts on a line of 1/4 scale figures based on Burton's animated classic? The possibilities are endless.
Jack Skellington
Santa Jack
Sally
Mayor
Lock, Shock and Barrel
Oogey Boogey
Dr. Finklestein
Kid with monkey head. :lol
It would be great if other characters from Burton's movies could be released in this format, especially those from Sleepy Hollow:
Ichabod Crane
Brom
Headless Horseman
Magistrate Philips
Baltus Van Tassel
Katrina Van Tassel
Doctor Lancaster
Reverend Steenwick
...and the Batman movies.
Just an idea. :wave

Could be very cool, and very dynamic to have a big Jack with real clothes,
but talk to NECA and MR.....NECA has the rights to must anything NBC, and MR has the Disney license....

I think the 1/4 scales are most interesting when representing something that could exist in the real world. So I wouldn't be too interested in NBC stuff in that scale.

I agree with Dave but the idea still makes me want to...:drool .

1/4 scale are way too big and too expensive. I would love to see these figures in the 12" format.

Neca did a 12" statue set last year for NBC, likely that is as close as we will get. Although Neca is beginning to do some 18" statues. But still not SS's premium format figs, they would be pretty cool.

Dave, would you welcome an announcement of figures representing 'real life' characters from Burton's other movies, namely those from Sleepy Hollow, Ed Wood & Batman, for example?
The tailoring for 1/4 Sleepy Hollow would be exquisite. I'd love a Walken Hessian Mercenary and Depp's Ichabod Crane. :thud

I'd love 12" from Sleepy Hollow, but I don't love the movie enough to invest in PF from it. Of course Batman I'd buy anything from. Maybe a 1/4 scale Beetejuice....

Batman, now you're talking. Chester Cobblepot aka The Penguin and Catwoman from Batman Returns would be something else!! :rock

Yeah, Gaz, It really is too sad that DC wasn't interested in a Sideshow deal, apparently happy with DCDirect.
For my part, the Vertigo imprint would be incredible. Just think what Sideshow could do with The Sandman or Preacher!

Question to the Burton-fans: what's your fav merchandise?
If I were to seek 1 piece of NmB4Xm what should I get?
Can hardly wait for the Corpse Bride and the merchandise :banana
As for 1/4, I don't know. I killed the idea of an Ichabod Premium Format, perhaps I was wrong. Maybe I would buy it. Batman and his buddies would score very good I expect. But I can't see the more animated characters getting properly converted to 1/4, I fear they'll loose their charm at that size... I hope someone proves me wrong.
