"Faith"

Hi all, I was just thinking about the Joss Whedon interview I read and he said he wants to do Ripper - TV series about Giles and also wants to have Faith be one of the characters.

Why don't they do the Faith TV show now that Tru Calling is cancelled and set it in England as Joss is desperate to come and film stuff here and Anthony Head lives here too...

They could do something where Giles needs her help and calls Faith because she has no responsibility, maybe she's working under a fake identity as a cop?

I'd love to see Giles and Faith in show together, she's so hot-headed and he's so "now, let's not be too hasty". lol...and with Spike being "British", he could pop up as well later on!

Wow, good thinking! Although, as a Giles fan first and foremost, I would prefer to have the show centered around Giles and then maybe include Faith at some point, as well as other characters from both Angel and Buffy. I think the range of experience Giles has had over his life would provide a more solid base for a long-term show.

Cool, I used to work for Miramax Films in the UK and I'm gonna write a pilot episode for this and maybe I will pitch it to Joss Whedon one day if I'm lucky enough to be in that position before anyone does anything about it! lol :bow
