I bought the Charlie Sheen "Taylor" figure the other day. I just have to say, WOW! I was really surprised at how good a military figure it is. It has got a bayonette that can attach to his m-16, and lotsa grenades! I know it's an older figure, but definately a good one! Anyone know where to find that darn Lerner-Depp figure?.

I too am a huge fan of SS's Platoon figures. I have the entire line and love it. I wish SS would of released a few more figures. Harold, Sal, Tex, and Wolfe would of made great figures.

Platoon is probably one of SS's most underrated lines.

Lerner is long gone.:( Your best bet is eBay. He is rare though and expect to shell out at least $125 for him.

Ebay or the waitlist (if there is one) are your best bets. You might try the buy/trade section here.

I've often admired the Platoon figures in the catalogues. I don't own any myself and wouldn't really be interested in any besides the Dafoe, Sheen and Berenger characters. It's been a long time since I saw the movie so I can't remember their actual character names!

I might take another look at them now after having read this thread. :)

The Depp figure is excellent, although it's a very young Depp. I used the head for a Once Upon A Time in Mexico custom and it works well.

Dave! Sweet!

I would like to see a picture of that, if you could tolerate posting a picture of it ...on the board I guess?

I hardly ever visit your front domain page. I guess I ought to more often!
