That looks sensational. I'd like it even more if it was a 1/6 figure, with Marlon Brando as Jor-El, Terence Stamp as Zod and Gene Hackman as Lex Luthor figures in the same range!

Yup,

I know the guy who is heading the project. It's going to be GREAT. The fabric/costume will be added at the end of the month.

However, you will need to find a painter for the head and hands.

Cost is going to be around $$$$.

I am getting him for sure.

This is a mass produced item, not a one-off custom? Where can we find out more?

This is a CUSTOM project.

You can find out more on RPF.

I think Gruson should have said, 'I hang out on forums and work for an internet software company.' Might be more accurate that way. ;)

Hi everyone,

I'm glad that you like him so far.
The head needs to be positioned properly so that it sits flush with the body and the detailing on the boots needs to be completed. Once that's done, it will be molded and the castings will be produced.
It's a personal project that I'm mainly doing for myself, but there will be a limited number available if anyone's interested.
You can contact me if you would like more info / updates:

Thanks!

cking,
Are you also the same guy with the repainted MR AT-AT on RPF? I have to say that it looks absolutely fantastic! I have the AT-AT v.2 coming in a few months, and I hope the added snow on the new version comes close to looking like the new paint job on yours.

elwood49,
Yes, that's me. It was repainted for me by my friend in Sweden. He did an amazing job on it and vastly improved the quality of it in my opinion. I wasn't interested in preserving any resale value by leaving it with the factory paintjob. I just wanted an "ILM quality" paintjob on the model and I think that's what I got.

Thanks for the comments on the Chris Reeve statue everyone.
