I've posted some pictures of stuff I've done before. Figured I have enough done now to start my own thread. So here ya go.
Kyle Katarn: I consider this one my first 1/6 custom. Currently re-working him since I know what I'm doing a little more now. Update pictures to come. Yes that is a custom 1:1 Kyle lightsaber from Jedi Outcast to go with him.

Well here is the updated Kyle Katarn. I used a dragon neo adam body with a BBi Barney head. Gave him a shave and some plastic surgery with the dremel and fully repainted the head. The outfit is from my first attempt seen at the top of this thread. Upgraded boots, belt, pouches and holster from Monkey Depot. Saber is scratch built from various plastic tubes and connectors I found in soap dispensers and tied together with a bolt for support and the inner ridges. Hope you like.

Just finished a snowtrooper upgrade using the Hasbro outfit and armor, dragon body and gloves and custom cloth boots. I'm quite happy with how it turned out.

That's looking pretty awesome! Do you have more detail on how you made the boots (what did you start with, etc.), as they are particularly nice looking.

Those boots are great, want to tell how you made them.

I should have taken progress pictures of the boots but I didn't so I tried to draw up a little diagram. Please let me know if you have any questions. I'd be more than happy to help anyone make their own. I started with some cheap scrap white material I found. Cut out a section and folded it over to make it twice as thick. machine stitched accross the top to creat the pocket for the laces. Folded over again and stitched down the back to creat the sleeve for the boot. Cut out the corners of the sleeve and cut slits on both sides of the boots to tuck the remaining flaps inside the boot. I got lucky with my boots, they came with an insole that was removable so after I tucked in the fabric and dropped some glue inside I put the insole back in to help hold it together. I then took the same fabric glue and put some along the edges of the fabric on the outside to help hold it to the boot. The great thing about star wars props is the rougher it looks the better. I then found some small thin elastic flat cord at a fabric store to use for the 3 straps around the boots. These I made seperately and put them over the boot like a rubber band. I used kite string for the laces and fed it through the pocket using a large eyed needle. A little paint and some weathering gave me the result you see.

Again if you have further questions feel free to ask.

Well here is my Indy display minus the Indy. Used various thicknesses of fiberboard to make the back wall and stones. Still need to finish the ground but looking pretty good. Did the grail symbol carving with an x-acto knife. Used sponge technique on the wall to give it a stone look. Crate is made from craft/popsicle sticks. Packing material is spanish moss I got at local dollar store. Stones and cup made from sculpy. Tablet is a repainted artifact from the whip cracking Indy. Luke is just Indy's stunt double.
