Hi, I just opened my T-800 figure shipping box for the first time. I notice that the photo depicts a belt on the jacket with small rivets in it. But the belt on the actual figure is just plain with no holes. Did Sideshow remove this for cost cutting purposes or do some of you have the rivets in the belt? Thanks! :)

Why did you load the question to be an either or? The answer to which I can only say is NO. There are no rivets in the belt. The buckle is designed to slip the belt through and pull to tighten to the appropriate fit, you choose. You will notice there is no tongue in the buckle. They didn't do it to be cheap, as you would like to suggest. I would rather think that they couldn't find rivets in 1/6th that would look any good, being that they would be too large, look out of scale and draw criticicsm. Much like the giant zipper on Medicoms Ghost Rider.

Hey, Creech. If you look at the box, you will see rivets on the proto that are in scale. It was a cost cutting measure, just as the flowers were molded on one piece, instead of being individual. No problems though. I still like the figure. :chew

You are right, useless without the buckle tongue too. Why Sideshow? Why did you foresake us? Damn those cost cutting manufacturers. It's hard to find good cheap labourers these days. Soon they will have us by the short and curlies, these damn monopolisers.
Boy I hate that chewie. Dance on my grave ya naked furball.
