Ok, so I am in my basement watching old Transformers cartoons ( yes, I am an nerd and own all 4 season of G1 cartoons ) and I say to myself "Self, you know you have some old G1 Transformers packed away". Well, I dug them out and here they are!!!

Grimlock, Swoop, Snarl, Slag, Sludge, Prime, Bluestreak, Prowl, Mirage and Ironhide. I jusr put them on an old shelf in my laundry room.

I completely forgot until a few months back with my mom stopping by my house with a plastic bin. When I opened it, I was shocked to see all the toys I used to love playing with when I was a kid in that plastic bin...You name it: vintage Star Wars, MASK, GI JOE's, a G1 Transformer (the blue one I used to love with the cassette...he was a Decepticon, but I can't remember his name right now...is it Soundwave??? ), Voltron, He-Man, LJN & Hasbro Wrestling Figs, and so many other stuff.

Yes, his name is Soundwave. It is cool to pull out childhood toys and remember!

My mom got rid of all my old toys! I had some goodies too, like Silverhawks, Ghostbusters, Thndercats, He-Man, GI Joes, Transformers, etc, etc. Man I would love to have those back!!! :monkey2

That's a sweet looking shelf. Are those original issue or commemorative rereleases?

Original... cause he has all the Dinobots and Mirage who were never reissued. Well, they did reissue Swoop.. some generic company did. But yes, I would say those are all original.

Yes, those are all original G1 issued. No boxes or anything, but they all have all their weapons.

And yes, Ironhide's robot form was terrible. That's why he's in van form :lol .

Dinobots rule!

I still need a Swoop and Sludge. I got a Swoop for the X-mas of 1985, but he broke that morning, so I got a Whirl to replace him. That thing kicked ass too!

And talk about FORGOTTEN! Can you find these guys in here?!?!

I always loved the Dinobots. Always wanted Sludge. I know I have a bunch of old Transformers around here somewhere. Probably not complete, but they are here. Between me and my brother we had Soundwave, Blaster, a couple Primes, Prowl, Wheeljack, Shockwave, Jazz, and a bunch more. God those were great toys.

Man I wish I could go back and stop my mom from doing whatever the hell she did with all my old toys. I had all the G1 Transformers, most of the He-Man, Thundercats and G.I. Joe collections, both Voltron's (Lions and Cars) and the Die Cast Robotech Veritechs. :monkey2

I was pretty good with my stuff growing up so it's all in pretty good shape--- Prime, Megs, and some others are posed with my Classic line but unfortunately until I get my home theatre room done in the basement my office upstairs just doesn't have the room so the rest of the original G1 are forced to sit in a dresser drawer...

My complete GIJoe collection is stored away in bins as well as the whole He-Man, A-Team,... any great 80's nostalgia.

I can't wait until I get my basement done so that I can go through my stuff and see what I want to put where-- for now it's the cold tomb of storage.
