Here's how to play:

See the new forum header up top? All the red, white and blue rectangles are extreme close-ups of certain areas of different Sideshow Collectibles products. You need to identify the product of each rectangle - number them left to right 1 - 9. The stars ARE NOT part of the image but have been added later.

Here are some clues:
There are 2 Star Wars products, 2 Marvel, 2 Buffy, 1 Legendary Musicians, 1 X-Files, 1 Military/Famous Persons. So don't go looking at Popbot or Terminator for the pictures. These are taken from the catalog shots on the Sideshow website, although some of the products may be sold out they should still be accessible on the site.


Email your answers to dstephan@sideshowcollectors.com with "July 4 contest" in the subject line. Along with the correct answers you must include your board name, real name and shipping address or your entry will be disqualified.



The winner will be drawn from all completely correct entries (or most correct).

Entered! Wasn't nearly as hard as it first looked. I found 7 of the 9, and was 100% positive of the answers, within 30 minutes. The eighth one took a little longer and I'm 99.99% positive on it. The last one took about an hour just for it and I'm now about 99.8% positive of it. Thanks Dave, Sideshow and Kurt! I canceled my Cap because there was just too much stuff coming all at once, so I really appreciate this contest.

I sent my answers in. I'm absolutely 100% positive on all of them, matched each and every one to a portion of an image by eye. Strangely enough, #2 was the biggest head scratcher lol. It should've been the easiest one, but I kept seeing it in a different way.

Don't give up! I'll bet you can still find them all based solely on the shapes and textures of the fabrics! Look at the patterns in each and find those patterns! You can do it!

Hadn't thought about the color blind - but you can go by texture sort a.

And I don't know if this helps, but it's:

red white blue red blue blue red white blue

So like if you know that Frankenstein is supposed to be blue - you'd know to look for Frankenstein images.
