Sideshow T2 Endo - Screwed? T2 Endo vs. Predator Maquette

Perverts!

Seriously - I was looking at my #8 catalog, and I'd never noticed
all the phillips head screws all over the thing before! wtf??

I know it is movable and all, but you'd think that there would
be a more aesthetically pleasing way to hold him together.

I know there are specialized fasteners for just this thing - to
hold together, but look smooth and finished as well.

Does the Cinemaquette version look this way too? I'd think
that it doesn't, but I've never seen one up close at all.

Could that be why the T2 Endo hasn't sold out yet, even though
it is about 1/2 the price of the Predator Maquette, which seems
to be selling like hotcakes?

Predator jumped out at me, and I HAD to have it. The T2 Endo
just doesn't jump out at me the same way for some reason as
a "gotta have it now" type of piece. I would like one, but I'd
be more frugal on my price paid for it I guess, where on the
Predator Maquette, there wasn't a moment's hesitation at 1k.

Any thoughts on the Predator vs. T2 Endo attraction difference?

Well I immagine that with the top articulating in so many places you would need a way to tighten it after it inevitably got loose from frequent movement.

If you don't like the look take; a dremell and round out the inside of the phillips head, that would look pretty nice. Just like a round rivet.

I definately like the look of the Cinemaquette version now that you mention the screws, just not sure if it's affordable.

The T2 enod jumped out at me the minute I saw it. It's going to be a great piece for sure.

As for Cinemaquette....not sure.

We were pretty let down on the T-850 (Arnold) over at statue forum...

Also, I like the pristine Sideshow version compared to the weathered Cinemaquette...

With Cinemaquette's prices vs. Sideshow's, I don't know how Cinemaquette will survive. Most collectors will buy the Sideshow versions since they're a fraction of the cost and the quality is about the same.

Cinemaquette also looks to have a Predator coming as well.

Well as far as my 2 cents; I don't even think the Cinimaquette even looks like it's from the same movie, It's niether how we first saw it nor is it correctly damaged enough to say that it's the battle damaged version. It looks more like just some other Terminator model in the background of one of the future fight scenes.

Nor do I want a 1/3 scale Predator statue. IMO 1/4 is the way to go an any statue unless you are going 1:1. And after seeing the SS version in person IMO there is no way it can be topped.

After seeing the Sideshow DVD the T2 looks great! But for me its the Predator, but if I could afford both I would get the T2 Endo also.
