How about a DC forum?

Marvel has one, why not DC? Lots of Batman and Superman threads in the general forum but the DC universe is a pretty big place. In all fairness, there should be both.

Sideshow doesn't have a DC license unlike Marvel so I can see keeping it in the General area.

Yeah but Hot Toys does. Besides, Sideshow cheats and just sells Medicom's figures anyway so technically they ain't Sideshow.

Yeah, but those are both sold/distributed by Sideshow (except for the DC medicom/Hot Toys) though so there is a difference.

Personally I prefer DC, but I'm wary of the forum getting diluted with a bunch of subforums that aren't related to the main focus. I believe we had a poll when I opened the Marvel forum - but perhaps it's time for a new one.

Marvel and DC should be seperate. Completely different characters. The Marvel universe are pretty much mutants while the DC universe is pretty much the traditional icons.

I could see that. It would be great to seperate them up. I'm not really a fan of DC Direct, so I would be in the marvel section more, but a DC section would be great.

While some of my favorite characters are DC there should NOT be both forums due to Sideshow not making any DC stuff at all and that is just silly to do so.

Sideshow ain't the only game in town. There is Hot Toys, Takara, Medicom and DC Direct.

I'd certainly vote for a DC section on the boards, I don't think it's totally unrelated as there is a 13" DCD figure line.

I think it would make it easier for all DC threads (comic book, movie and figures, DVD's etc) to be linked together.

They'd be easier to find for fans of DC (and most Marvel fans probably like at least some DC stuff) and might even attract more people to the boards, I'm not saying this should be done for everything, but I think DC is big enough to deserve a subsection.

I think a comic forum would be a good idea... its not like there is a ton of DC traffic.

Although in all honesty its not like its bad having them in General either...

I have other interests that I'd like to create forums for - I'm more a DC fan than Marvel and a Harry Potter forum has been requested, which is something I'm also very interested in. But I don't think we really need seperate forums. The DC and HP stuff can go into general and/or other without overwhelming either forum.

Id like to see an additional "Customizations Forum" that deals with aspects of customizations "how to's" as well as a Gallery
